As a brand new nurse with no experience I will probably be one that has a thousand questions.

As a brand new nurse in the ICU, please do not use the bathroom without ensuring that someone is watching your patient. Patients can and do have emergencies when their nurse is "indisposed," so please make sure someone is watching them!

lmao. funny. But I will never stop asking questions. I am a new nurse and 20 years from now I will still be asking questions. Nursing is life long learning and I will never be too proud to ask a question.

This is great! A brand new nurse with few or no questions, scares the daylights out of me!!

I'm sure you will do well, Heather!

During clinicals I think I annoyed my instructors with all the questions, like asking if I'm doing something right, even though I know they would intervene if I wasn't. I just don't like making mistakes, especially when someone's life is in my hands. I want to be absolutely sure. I don't think I'm a perfectionist, but I'm pretty close.

I'm starting nursing school and my fear is to ask the "stupid questions" but everyone asks them right? Lol
If you don't ask the "stupid questions", you will probably make a stupid mistake.

Personally, I always preferred the question-asking, no matter how stupid I sounded!
