NY BON application time period

I am an international nurse. I had applied for CVS CGFNS and it took me around 14 months to issue my report to NY BON. I was really frustrated of calling to CGFNS . Finally i got my report issued in November 10th. I am waiting for NY BON to give me an eligibility since then. I got an email yesterday telling me to send scan copy of my transcript which has been missed. I promptly emailed them my transcript. But i am so much worried.... do i have to wait for more time?? I was wondering how come they missed my transcript? They must have got it from CGFNS, right?? Have anyone got that kinda email from NY BON??? Will i have to wait more time like CGFNS?? Plz help me..!!

so you mean many people gets this kinda email asking for transcript from NY BON?? So, how much time do they take for my eligibility??

Sometimes CGFNS do not get all documents and usually at 6 month stage everything gets sent to the BON and they review and depending on how complete application is will depend on response of the BON. If docs requested and sent then it may be another 4 weeks for review before decision finally made

hope my waiting time would finish soon..i am tired of waiting :( hoping to get an eligibility after 4 weeks.. thank you for your advice

Apologies for the late reply..haven't been too social lately..hehe

By received the letter from BON you mean, the eligibility? If yes, I'm guessing it's valid for a good year. And only once you get your ATT, you have a validity of 4 months.

THank You so much for you reply. I appreciate it. Actually i do have a small baby of 4 mnths old so i am kinda getting nervous of this exam. I am studying saunders and la charity prioritization book , but i am getting very low marks so i think i am not ready to give exam right now. thats why i wanted to confirm the validation date. Thank you

Congratulations on your baby firstly, I've been trying to study from almost every book or online review I get my hands on but in vain..

Don't give up! I'm sure you have a hold on content, just do practice questions..as many as you can!

Btw, I had a question.. How did you receive the eligibility? Is a paper mail that comes to your address or email?

yes from BON i got a letter which says to register in pearson vue. but i have not registered yet, will do soon.

How long did your whole NY BON process take? I remember you mentioning that CGFNS had mailed your evaluation on Nov 10th, right?
