I am an international nurse. I had applied for CVS CGFNS and it took me around 14 months to issue my report to NY BON. I was really frustrated of calling to CGFNS . Finally i got my report issued in November 10th. I am waiting for NY BON to give me an eligibility since then. I got an email yesterday telling me to send scan copy of my transcript which has been missed. I promptly emailed them my transcript. But i am so much worried.... do i have to wait for more time?? I was wondering how come they missed my transcript? They must have got it from CGFNS, right?? Have anyone got that kinda email from NY BON??? Will i have to wait more time like CGFNS?? Plz help me..!!

yeah ....BON took around 4 mnths to complete their whole process.

Woaahh! That's a longgg time just for NY BON, mine has been just a month so far since the CGFNS mailed the evaluation to them!

yeah it was a long wait for me...Can you believe...4 months for BON and 14 months for CGFNS. i feel like i am so unlucky on that matter.

14 months? That's pretty unusual..because after a certain period of time, even if the evaluation process isn't completed, CGFNS sends an incomplete mail to the BON. And they take over, because I guess NY does their own process all over again! Are you doing any online review?

HAHA yeah it is.. yeah i am going through U world questions..its pretty hard for me... can you give any suggestions how to study for Nclex?

I have the same problem. I feel that doing this CVS process takes forever. Its been 7months and still CGFNS still waiting to documents they needed. So frustrating and couldn't start my review having this problem dont know if I will be eligible to take this. Hope I can get my att to move forward in my review.

Well, all I have are the books. Saunders, Lippincott and an old version of Kaplan.

I may buy the Uworld online Q&A, probably once I get my eligibility. Kaplan or Hurst reviews are a bomb to the wallet. I'm sure Uworld will help. All you'd need to understand is the prioritization, delegation etc. If you know content, it's just the question that you need to learn. For special words that hint the answer like 'first, immediate, NOT, least'.

Haha, ohh no..

I have yet to take the test! I work as a monitor tech for the meanwhile.. My paperwork is still under process too!
