NY BON application time period

I am an international nurse. I had applied for CVS CGFNS and it took me around 14 months to issue my report to NY BON. I was really frustrated of calling to CGFNS . Finally i got my report issued in November 10th. I am waiting for NY BON to give me an eligibility since then. I got an email yesterday telling me to send scan copy of my transcript which has been missed. I promptly emailed them my transcript. But i am so much worried.... do i have to wait for more time?? I was wondering how come they missed my transcript? They must have got it from CGFNS, right?? Have anyone got that kinda email from NY BON??? Will i have to wait more time like CGFNS?? Plz help me..!!

I applied to NY BON after I think 5 days or 1week I mailed my application in CGFNS. If I just knew that it would take long like this I shouldn't have done that. I even passed the 2 test that NY required infection and child abuse.

Are you applying from the US or are you elsewhere?

Have you followed up with your college/licensing board regarding the documents sent/received?

Yes I called PRC several times and they told me that they did not receive mail from CGFNS I couldnt call the CG for that cause its an office to office transaction and Im not supposed to intervene. Im just praying that this will be over, this long wait couldnt start my review. How long are u waiting?

Oh no, I bet you can call CGFNS and inquire. Because I did that very often 'cause my college claimed they had never received any documents but in fact they did but it was laying in the registrars office. So make sure you do call them and ask and also, put a lil pressure over your nursing college. 7 months is definitely a super long wait!

I applied in the month of August too, CGFNS has mailed my evaluation to the NY BON and I'm just awaiting their approval for my eligibility.

Ohhh..OKOK!! BON might take 1-2 months for you or longer.Most of my friends got the letter within 2 months.

I hope to get my letter soon too but I honestly haven't actually started studying well!

yeah i am also getting hard to go through my notes and practice. if you don't mind can i ask if you have any important notes or pdf files which is important for NCLEX that you can share with me?I do have some which i can share with.

All I have is the 30 page quick review that's all over this site..I hope you've heard about it..I haven't actually started studying yet full fledged but when I do, and come across something, I'll surely let you know..

I guess I'll do Saunders first and once I'm done with it, I'll probably buy UWorld..or Kaplan (1month)
