Anyone with a good heart to answer my question if submitting a CPD profile is mandatory in ahpra bridging program assessment? Its because its difficult to get a copy from the nursing office

i don't think so it is mandatory.

Hi! Have you completed the bridging course? Im planning to submit my application in Sydney since Im living in Newcastle. I also want to ask you more questions; however, I can't PM you. It will be greatly appreciated If you could give me your email thru PM. Thanks!

hi i did and ended 3rd of july in ACN but sadly they are the slowest in terms of processing completion letters, until now they are not done with our papers and it's quite frustrating because other schools can do it few days after bridging, yes they are the cheapest in town but the waiting part is not worth it when all of us wants to get registered right away, and not to mention the bridging itself with them is a bit tough in my own opinion, 2 students failed on clinicals and they failed it, no chances, it's like your 5weeks of theory doesn't even count if you failed in clinicals. Imagine the money, effort, and everything we put into this, so my advice choose your BP school properly.

hi! I'm about to take my BP in ACN Sydney this September. 'Paid my confirmation fee already. But according to your experience, it seemed they are not as supportive as expected to intakers. I have a few years experience but the last 2 years have been outside the clinical setting. Should I be worried, and just look for another school? Thanks!

Hi. I sent my docs November 8, 2015. AHPRA sent me an email informing me that they've received it On Novemeber 20. By January 7, they sent another email stating thag the initial assessment of my papers was complete. Meaning that they have received all the needed docs by then and they have forwarded my papers to the AHPRA central HQ (if that's how we can call it).

MCIE do the IRON with Wimmera Health Care hospital so placements are good because they are in teh Wimmera hospital. Plus they have a good accommodation option.

Thank you vickynurse003!

It's normal to be anxious. I felt the same way all those time even until now. Don't worry. They will surely get back to you.

It's your call, but that's whats been happening to ACN almost every intake someone will fail, their standards is so high that sometimes it can burnt out students. Weekly exams on theory, 2 assessments on clinicals and a final reflective paper, trust me it is very stressful. It's 11weeks, other school have it for 9. Well if your up to this kind of thing then go for it, focus, be pro active and you should be fine, but yeah your area of clinicals also matters a lot in regards to your clinical experience.Lastly i would say their bridging module is very thorough, its very educational, they have lovely sets of lecturers but we just felt the coordinators aren't supportive enough to students when your out there in clinicals and there are really very very hard assessors on the floors, who failed students.

If i had it in any way i would not do it with them, 5weeks of waiting post bridging for your completion letter to be forwarded to ahpra is not really worth it, u can be registered in that timeline and do the rest of the processing, but here we are waiting, waiting for them to finish, and no you can't ask them to speed up the process because that's just how they it.

Research other schools, know their modules, clinicals and everything, ask people who had done their BP so you have ideas. There is another one in sydney, ETEA have a look at it as well.

message me if you got other questions.

Learned a lot from your experience. You are right, you should have your registration by now and find sponsorship thereafter. By the way, how much did you pay for your BP?. thanks!

Hi pongpong30!

how long dis it take for ACN to give you an offer letter?

Im aiming for their September intake as well. But unfortunately, I havent heard from them for some time now. Its been over a week since they said that they're going to give an offer letter... And there's only a month left.. Im getting anxious already with wether or not I can complete the enrolment process on time.. Not to mention the visa processing and medicals.

rejai11, your share of experience is very helpful. Got me thinking of preparing some other plans in case things wouldn't turn out well.

than you very much!!

Hi everyone!

Just a newbie here. But I've been back reading the comments for quite some time now. About to start collating the requirements needed. But I'm so overwhelmed with the Agos40 form. Anyone here who just recently lodged the application? Do you have the list of needed docs?

And Which state process the application quickly? Would sydney be a good choice? would greatly appreciate response. Thank you guys! í ½í¸‰
