Hi pongpong30!

how long dis it take for ACN to give you an offer letter?

Im aiming for their September intake as well. But unfortunately, I havent heard from them for some time now. Its been over a week since they said that they're going to give an offer letter... And there's only a month left.. Im getting anxious already with wether or not I can complete the enrolment process on time.. Not to mention the visa processing and medicals.

rejai11, your share of experience is very helpful. Got me thinking of preparing some other plans in case things wouldn't turn out well.

than you very much!!

hi! Mine was fast. I waited only for a few days after contacting them. Then I was asked to process my visa. The visa processing though is taking a lot of time. I've been waiting for 1 and a half months now.

I'm really anxious in pursuing ACN. My clinical skills have been really rusty, being out of clinical settings for almost 2 years now.

Hi! Ive been waiting for over a week now.. Still got no response from them. Ive been told to just wait as they are going to give me a spot for the september intake.. But from the looks of it, from your experience, im going to have some trouble with the visa processing. Im running out of time. í ½í¸”í ½í¸“

Thanks for your response, though. Don't worry too much about the clinicals.. Got some word that ACN's program isnt too much to handle. í ½í±í ¼í¿»

Anyone here who submitted a COE signed by the supervisor and not by the manager? The thing with my hospital is that they have a format for COE and they dont customize. The formatted COE is not complete based on the guidelines by AHPRA. But I think I can request my supervisor to sign a customized COE for me.

Hi nursejdv. I think we will be batchmates in processing the AHPRA. I'm in the stage of gathering my documents as well. Hope we can exchange feedbacks regarding the status of our application.

did all of you complete the 11 week program? is it okay if you share why those two students failed in their clinicals? im aiming to apply in can as well. your post made me contemplate if I still need to pursue going to that school or not.

hi i did and ended 3rd of july in ACN but sadly they are the slowest in terms of processing completion letters, until now they are not done with our papers and it's quite frustrating because other schools can do it few days after bridging, yes they are the cheapest in town but the waiting part is not worth it when all of us wants to get registered right away, and not to mention the bridging itself with them is a bit tough in my own opinion, 2 students failed on clinicals and they failed it, no chances, it's like your 5weeks of theory doesn't even count if you failed in clinicals. Imagine the money, effort, and everything we put into this, so my advice choose your BP school properly.

Hi @pongpong30!

Got my offer letter today. Im a bit overwhelmed because theres so little time left to process with regards to the visa and the medicals.. May I ask what type of visa you processed? How did you start the application? Your response would be of great help. 😓

thank you very much!!

Hi butterfly. I'll be sending my documents to AHPRA sydney office tomorrow. Though I already completed the necessary documents, I'm still not sure what other docs will the Case officer ask from me in the future. If you want to know anything or any updates of my application, you can contact me thru my email: [email protected].

xtercal and nursejdv are the same person? I'd be happy to exchange any updates of my application with you. Ad of now, I am still trying to persuade my current manager to sign a customize COE in accordance to AHPRAs guidelines. If everything will be complete, I will be forwarding my documents this month in AHPRA melbourne. I will drop you a message in your email then. Thanks.

Hi. I know you didn't ask me. But this might help. I just applied for my visa too though I applied here in Singapore. The process might not have much difference. I applied for the Visitor (subclass 600) visa which is actually a tourist visa that would allow the visa holder 3months of stay in Australia. I am not too sure whether there are other visas we can apply for given the intention of our stay there. I planned to get a student visa at first but it would require me to be enrolled in a course with a minimum duration of 6 months. My school also recommended the subclass 600 visa with multiple entry so I thought it would be wise to just follow whatever the others before me went through. I applied through ImmiAccount ImmiAccount. All the instructions you need are there. I'd say it's user-friendly as long as you know what you are applying for. The visa processing depends on how fast you would be able to complete the needed documents. I was requested to have my personal identifiers or biometrics taken which was the only time I needed to go to a Visa Application Center recognized by DIBP. The site will also prompt you to go for a health check and will send you your referral letter for it. Take note that DIBP also have their own list of recognized clinics who can perform visa medical exams. The clinic will be the one to submit to DIBP your results. My visa was granted in less than 2 weeks.

Thank you very much for the info.
