Thank you very much for the info.

What school did you apply for?

You're welcome. I enrolled in MCIE. They are in partnership with Wimmera Health so you don't see MCIE in the list of approved BP. I read you are going for ACN. All the best to us.

Thank you very much Amaree21, BSN, RN!! The info you've given really helps a lot! Im quite in the rush to comply with all the requirements as the school Im applying for sent me my offer letter a bit late. I've roughly a month left. í ½í¸“

Good Luck!! All the best! í ½í¸Š

Hi nursejdv. I think we will be batchmates in processing the AHPRA. I'm in the stage of gathering my documents as well. Hope we can exchange feedbacks regarding the status of our application.

Hi butterfly. That's a good thing. Are you here in the Ph? Would love to exchange feedbacks with you too. But can't send a Pm. Any email address? Thanks! 👌🏼

No. I am currently abroad... but i will be having my vacation leave soon and I am planning to have my BP early next year. My email address is [email protected]... we'll exchange emails then.

Hello guys! I am currently in the process of finalizing my documents for AHPRA application and one thing that I am skeptical about is the way my papers were certified by the attorney. The wordings that he put were "Certified photocopy of the original". Do you think AHPRA will accept it? Thanks guys! :)

.

It's your call, but that's whats been happening to ACN almost every intake someone will fail, their standards is so high that sometimes it can burnt out students. Weekly exams on theory, 2 assessments on clinicals and a final reflective paper, trust me it is very stressful. It's 11weeks, other school have it for 9. Well if your up to this kind of thing then go for it, focus, be pro active and you should be fine, but yeah your area of clinicals also matters a lot in regards to your clinical experience.Lastly i would say their bridging module is very thorough, its very educational, they have lovely sets of lecturers but we just felt the coordinators aren't supportive enough to students when your out there in clinicals and there are really very very hard assessors on the floors, who failed students.

If i had it in any way i would not do it with them, 5weeks of waiting post bridging for your completion letter to be forwarded to ahpra is not really worth it, u can be registered in that timeline and do the rest of the processing, but here we are waiting, waiting for them to finish, and no you can't ask them to speed up the process because that's just how they it.

Research other schools, know their modules, clinicals and everything, ask people who had done their BP so you have ideas. There is another one in sydney, ETEA have a look at it as well.

message me if you got other questions.

Hi Rejai! Thank you for your advice. Also, where do they conduct their clinicals? Their campus was moved to Parramatta so I was planning to stay in that area. But, I have to check where their clinicals are being held so it'll be convenient for daily travel.

Hi @pongpong30!

Got my offer letter today. Im a bit overwhelmed because theres so little time left to process with regards to the visa and the medicals.. May I ask what type of visa you processed? How did you start the application? Your response would be of great help.

thank you very much!!

Hi elmutero! I apologize my reply is so late. I wasn't able to browse through all the posts until now. I applied for visitor visa, subclass 600 which allows you to stay for 3 months. I don't know if there is something wrong with what I did but I'm still waiting for my visa. Others had it for a shorter waiting period after complying with all the requirements. Mine is still pending. I applied it here in Dubai. Hopefully, all ends well to both of us. See you in ACN!

Hi, i recently sent my application on ahpra, and i recieved an automated email that confirms that they had received it already last june 29, 2015.. when i was reading the details on ahpra's website, it states that the processing period will be up to 4-6 weeks.. however, i haven't receive up to now any status with regards to my application.. as i was reading some of the comments here, i think that you have your own officer... my friend ( who is now in oz) told me that she had her own officer too when she applied... that officer was the one who follows up any missin details on her application... i am so bothered right now, because i still dont have my own officer, and i really dont know what's happenin with my application... i am also anxious because some of you got their letter within the specified time frame.. i don't know whether or not i lack requirements with my application but i am praying that it's complete i know patience is a virtue.. but im really frustrated right now.. any advice that i can get from you? Do you think there's something wrong because i still dont have my own officer and i just received an automated email, unlike you guys?

:( i know that there are a lot of applicants too.. maybe that's one of the reasons..

Hello! We are definitely on the same page! My application was received last June 25 and my ICHC and Certificate of Good Practice were received last June 27. I have emailed AHPRA to ask for an update and they said that my application is still undergoing assessment. They assured me that they will let me know in case they need additional documents. Let's update each other re: our applications 😊

Hi. Though AHPRA is trying to process applications as fast as they used to which was 4-6 weeks, I don't think they are getting that target. Mine took about 3months which I didn't expect. I thought it would take a year just like how it was for those who submitted before me. I'd say give them time. As long as you've already received an email stating that they have received your application, that should be fine. I understand the wait could get really frustrating. But I don't think AHPRA would ever ditch even one application. For the mean time, if you think you would need to undergo BP, start searching for schools and inquire about their program.

As for the registration assessment officer, I believe mine emailed me because there were additional documents they needed me to submit. If not for that, I think no one would have contacted me.

If you are still not convinced, try calling them. I did once to inquire whether they have received the additional documents I sent. The lady I talked to just asked for some of my identification details and she answered all my questions.

Hi @Amaree21! Did you mean you received your LOE 3 months after you submitted your requirements?
