Well, I finally sent off my application to CLPNA! Now all I have to do is wait to hear back from them about my application!

How long have you been waiting from them since you completed the requirements?

5 weeks. I also sent an application with CRNM however it's not complete yet. How's your application?

The only documents I lack for CRNM are from the school and the employer. I've heard that you can contact CRNM and forward your documents to CLPNM if you want to apply for them.

Yes. But the thing is, I applied first in CLPNM before I did CRNM credentials assessment. Let's hope everything turns out well for us ;-)

When would be a good time to apply to be an RN? My goal is to hopefully have permission to take the licensure exam, pass, and then apply to become an RN once I get a job as an LPN. It would be really expensive to apply for LPN and RN at the same time.

It's not that expensive. You can do both at the same time.

I received an email stating that my application was received! It hasn't been assessed yet because two more items have to be turned in. Hopefully, that will be received soon!

My requirements for CRNM are complete. Next step: CCA. I hope it won't take long. I heard it may take a while due to the volume of applicants. :-(
