I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

Thanks.

Good PM guys, i got the same problem with the OB MS thing, i called them last week, and i had the chance to talk to my analyst, and she's tryin to BLAME Philippines for being GREEDY and Overbooking of Nurses, anyway, is there any group in FB that we can talk about this, with no limitation?so we can give a heads up to everybody who's having the same dilemma, its kinda, depressing, cause after we finished 4 years of our course, they'll just wiped us out. Thanks Guys!

In talking with my PH friend, she too has heard this "greedy" comment from a CA BON staffer, but it has NOTHING to do with the individual applicants! According to her and from her friends have said the comment is directed at the college's themselves!! I think some here may have taken the CA BON comments out of context, as others have posted a similar mention.

It's NOT about YOU, him, her or as anyone's group!!

It's the exact same issues we have in the States and with the various YAHOO stories, which are fueled by all their advertisers, in which Yahoo and the ads are all claiming that one of the hottest job in the States with an extreme shortage of applicants and job opening needs for 300,000 in the next couple of years is the holder of an RN license, meaning you need to attend to their very expensive schools, either at a real campus or via on-line.

If you notice this poster's own words...."being GREEDY and Overbooking of Nurses"....who's doing this "overbooking"? It's your colleges!

I'm positive that many of your colleges there have done exactly what Excelsior College US has done.....just cram the classes with as many students as they can, make very easy access to student loans, borrow up to the max $$ and more, tell the students anything they want to hear about NO problems with getting a CA license, don't worry about making the courses that do not run concurrent with the CA minimum requirements, CA BON never seriously look at that "minor" issue.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, that's exactly why ALL Excelsior college BSN US grads can not ever get their chance to apply to CA or even endorse their out of state license, if they graduated from Jan. 2007. and onwards. I've posted this a couple of times.

You guys first of all, must hold your own colleges accountable for their fatal mistake(s): (a). not making your clinicals/cases and theory courses run together in the same semester; (b). increase the med-surgery hours. What's the college's excuses for not complying with the CA BON minimum requirements as set forth since 2003? I say there's absolutely NO excuses.

Some of your colleges have designed certain courses so that they can easily make excuses. It's all about the bottom line and making hugh profits for them and I'm referring more to those that are run like Excelsior US. You will notice Excelsior no longer advertises in CA or offers anything related to CA.

for those with problems in nclex rn, feel free to add me up at fb - [email protected]

I took my exam on january 3rd and i failed.Reapplied again and they were asking for my clinical cases.I already provide those and still waiting for the board's reply.I hope everyone who has the same problems will be granted an eligibility.Let's all pray and all the best for us.FINGERS CROSSED!God bless us.=)

Anyone here from University of the Cordilleras who was granted eligibility by the BRN?

Haven't submitted my cases yet. From what school are you? I hope there's a way for us who graduated outside the US to be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN.

Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital E-I.I know let's hope and pray for that.Have faith with the Lord Almighty God!Is this your first time to take the exam?

My friend's classmates in a review center told her that she has the same problems with the concurrency thing but the analyst told them to get an explanation from the dean why the cases were taken in NCM 104 and 105.After they provided the letter of explanation, they got their eligibility letters after 2-3 weeks! There's still a HOPE.Have faith in HIM!God bless us!=)
