I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

Thanks.

Talked to my analyst this afternoon. I asked her if there's anything the school can do or write a letter about it but my analyst said that it's impossible coz the problem is the concurrency and that she suggested to take nclex-rn in other states or take the LVN. I know that it would take time, money and effort but we have to. You just can't get easily what you want. Good luck everyone and God Bless;)

so @ratnik13, what are you planning to do? (if u dont mind telling).. are you planning to apply in another state? and are you also planning to apply reciprocity thereafter?. thanks.

@dee07 we should inform our school so that they can fix our problem about requirements in california.. i wish that you can get your eligibility soon and good luck ok..we must be proud to be a tamaraw graduate.. what year are you graduated? i have a friend working in IN faculty and secretary office ill let them know what's going on...

I wish that things were that easy. That one call will fix everything =/ but rules are rules..

I graduated last april 2011.. thank you, I really appreciate it :)

@konoha dont give up.. try to communicate in your school what's going on so that they can find a solution about their problem in ca bon.. what school r u graduated?

I know how u feel.. I really hate it.. Processing , expenses.. Messed up everything.. At least we're here in US and we have option.. A lot of nurses in the Philippines want to be here.. We can do this.. No matter how good or bad you think life is, wake up each day and be thankful for life. Someone somewhere else is fighting to survive..

@dee07 have you tried to contact our school? i already informed someone working in the office of IN.. i think as far i remembered there's a problem before i passed my requirements in ca bon but they fix it.. they revised the hours.. something like that.. so dont give up my dear friend!!

It's really unfortunate how our schools can't even help even if they probably can because the bon is already set on their decision.

yes, you're right, through perseverance..anything is possible :]

No I haven't. Well the bon already has my documents, so if the school sends another one and it doesn't match..it might cause bigger problems. Thank you for your help though! and I won't :)

@dee07 i have a friend of mine taking nclex in california same school and same batch of mine she got her att she's about to take exam this month.. just ask your analyst tell her that our school produces a lot of nurses who passed and meet our requirements... if u dnt mind can u send me a copy of your curriculum and i will compare mine if there's any difference.. i think there's a changes of curriculum after my batch 2008

I think that we had the same curriculum. Did your batch have the ahse program? Our batch was the last one to have that.

@dee07 yes we do have ahse program too.. ncm 101-104 din kame... just try to pursuade your analyst telll them you have same schoolmate who got their att with no problem..

for now, i'm planning to take LVN and maybe later move to another state or take nursing classes. they said that if you take NCLEX-RN in another state, and apply reciprocity here, still the same process for us applying right now.they will go through you requirements.it's either you move to another state, be an RN and stay there or,if you really want to be here in CA, you need to take nursing classes for your deficiencies..goodluck:)
