Denied by the California BON....help

I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

My friend's classmates in a review center told her that she has the same problems with the concurrency thing but the analyst told them to get an explanation from the dean why the cases were taken in NCM 104 and 105.After they provided the letter of explanation,they got their eligibility letters after 2-3 weeks!There's still a HOPE.Have faith in HIM!God bless us!=)

Do you know from what school they're from?? I hope our dean can do the same if in case i was denied.

That's great news! These classmates that got their letters, was it recent? Have they taken the exam yet? My roommate's friend is also trying to get his ATT, but has been denied once already and a few of his friends have also been denied.

Yeah the first one got his eligibility on december 2011 and the 2nd one was on last week of january.Thats what my friend told me,b/c we have the same problems too.

just curious; has anybody had their transcripts or philippine education evaluated either by cgfns credential evaluation service or others before sending to ca. brn? it might just be useful, since the credential evaluation supposedly compare the foreign education against us education. theoretically once a credentialing service accredits your degree/educational theoretically then what it is saying is your foreign education is equivalent to the us education. in that matter brn will have a problem declining your application using that excuse.

i'm licensed in nevada and applying for reciprocity here, and submitted my credentials from cgfns-ces, still they mailed me that rejection letter yesterday. i am very frustrated right now. i wanna get a lawyer........

Hi guys...I really have a bad time now because of this issue of "oh you need to study again MS and OB."Oops.sorry, it was just devastating to find out that Im not yet eligible to take the nclex.Im Melai. I've been living here in Cali not quite long like a lot of you guys but the thing is I got my blue passport last Aug. 2011 which entitled me to be a US Citizen.I am living in the Philippines my whole life and eventually got my Bsn degree last April 2010 and passed the boards on july 2010.Oh,my school is in Pampanga.I applied for cali nclex on Nov.17 because I only got here last Oct.6...and so got my requirements on dec.8...**** ***** was my analyzer(yes!Im naming him here!)He said I need to submit or dr cases,academic calendar,my ss and passport,and the usual transcript,rle and educ.breakdown...To my surprise I never thought that or dr cases were actually needed but the sad news the authenticated ones I used to have were already been submitted to the PRC..Luckily my dean who was very nice was the one who painstakingly gathered again signatures of the different staff nurses and chief nurses.Imagine the effort that my dean put just for me to complete my requirements..So last Jan.30 my mom texted me the good news that finally they gathered all the necessary requirements...I was relieve enough and inspired to review because I know there would be anymore problem.I even got enrolled in Kaplan..Then came the sad news.********* said that clinical and theoretical should be concurrent and that my or dr cases were out of sequence. How am I supposed to explain to him that "duh!" we are 90thousand nursing student in the Phil at that year.How are we supposed to complete them?!So the cali brn gave me 3 freaking years to complete the ms and ob...I will study again?!I'm really ****** because my friend who got here 2 months before me actually applied last sept.2011,so that makes her application 1month earlier than mine.So how could you explain that her requirements was only tor,rle and educ.breakdown?!:'(

yes, it's really unfair. It's lucky for the others because they applied for nclex-rn earlier than us. Wow your dean made a huge effort! I don't know if my dean can do that.. Maybe you can let the dean explain to the analyst regarding your inconcurrency issue. Maybe it can help.
