Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

It means people are phoning immigrants up claiming to be from immigration and telling you to pay a certain amount of money or else you will be deported. Spamming you

Thank you for that Silverdragon102. :)

Like what she said marlyn10. So be careful. This case does not apply only to Australia but in all places where you would ask for the help of an agent. Get the agent/agency's name and look it up in your local overseas employment administration if they're registered or not. That way, you can make sure they're safe.

When is ACN's next intake after September? Does anyone know?

hi silverdragon thanks for your answer ... it helps us so much .. more power to you..

Hi bottlenose. The visa you need to apply is visitor visa subclass 600 business stream. I was initially for the july intake but wasn't able to submit my visa so i was moved to the sept intake. I'm already done with my medical exam last june28 but until now i haven't received my visa grant notice. I'm actually worried because it's been 5weeks since i lodged my application in their service partner. I think you should start preparing the docs for the visa app and lodge the application asap. Though i also know of some who had their visa processed faster than mine (released about 3days after the results of their medical had been forwarded to the embassy). When did you receive your offer letter from acn? Check the website Department of Immigration & Citizenship you will find the visa app form and the attachments needed

hi cyndi0116 .. do you lodge your visa on your own?.. I will be doing it myself.. need help about documents needed in applying subclass 600 .

rooty hill is a bit far. farthest I've been was Paramatta. anyway, i'm leaning towards the eastern suburbs. I'll need to look for cheap accommodations though. did you receive your visa already?? did you email CON re your recent work experience and accommodation for the clinical placement? Haven't done it yet.
Already emailed the clinical coordinator last month as i was supposed to attend the july intake. But will email them again before aug9. Haven't received my visa yet. Actually feeling a little bit anxious about it. Are you in au already? What's your visa?

No. I was there with my family last april on a tourist visa. My grandparents live there. feeling anxious as well cos of the visa. sigh. My LOE will be expiring in November so I better get into the september intake.
