Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
Hi guys. I'm new here. I would just like to ask if I'll be having problems with getting a job here in Australia if I didn't have as much experience as I'm supposed to have. I mean, I only have 7 months experience as a VN (volunteer nurse) and a year as a phlebotomist. But, luckily, I got myself into the bridging program and passed. I'm currently waiting for my registration now which would hopefully come within next week. I'm just worried that I might have trouble getting a job here in Australia as most of the application now is done online and most employers usually base on the experience more. Hope I could get an insight on this.If anyone would like to ask regarding BP course, maybe I could be of help and you could ask me. I took the course with ETEA. All the best to everyone. Good luck, God bless and never stop praying.
Hi kingkoy007, i am also from ETEA JAN 2013 batch. We are 18 in the class and as of now, only 3 of us got a job, 2 among the 3 got sponsorship because the other one is already a temporary resident. Keep on sending out applications. And pray, :)
Hi bottlenose. The visa you need to apply is visitor visa subclass 600 business stream. I was initially for the july intake but wasn't able to submit my visa so i was moved to the sept intake. I'm already done with my medical exam last june28 but until now i haven't received my visa grant notice. I'm actually worried because it's been 5weeks since i lodged my application in their service partner. I think you should start preparing the docs for the visa app and lodge the application asap. Though i also know of some who had their visa processed faster than mine (released about 3days after the results of their medical had been forwarded to the embassy). When did you receive your offer letter from acn? Check the website Department of Immigration & Citizenship you will find the visa app form and the attachments needed
Hi Hi cyndi0116,
Thank you. I've already lodge my application for visa last week and I'm now waiting for the Embassy's response.
Already emailed the clinical coordinator last month as i was supposed to attend the july intake. But will email them again before aug9. Haven't received my visa yet. Actually feeling a little bit anxious about it. Are you in au already? What's your visa?
Hi. Received my visa grant already today. How about you?
