Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

Are you crazy? I don't know about you, but this crusty old bat wants some male eye-candy, preferably in tight pants. Because most of the guys I've worked with were barely tepid on the looks scale...certainly not hot. At least with tight pants, you know if it's boxers, briefs or "commando."

Just for the record: I'm a very young new-grad working in an ED with a BSN from a fairly prestigious university who passed the computerized NCLEX in 75 questions and then used the Pearson trick, and sometimes I ask really dumb questions. You guys are SO MEAN, and... I LOVE THIS THREAD! We're not all entitled, holier-than-thou, smarter-than-you brats, and thank goodness! Some of us even know that you crusty old bats are just trying to teach us something, not eat us. On behalf of my peers, I thank you!

Dude, its not like you have to do it on the spot. Plus write ups are more of a "tag your it" anyway.. All it is, is foreplay homie, most of the time there is a phone # attached to it anyway.. Either way you will get your alone time with the door closed & maybe even a witness(on video if you really lucky)!

Oh. I guess that's OK then. Whew!!! :) I understand that it's important that I quickly become part of the "team" by helping the other nurses out in "any" way I can. I just want to be sure that with all the sex, I can get out of work on time, that's all -- and that I won't get too tired... but, I guess I just need to be sure I eat right, and get enough sleep too, huh.

Gee, I guess you won't be one of those precious new grads who complains about being precepted by (gasp) an Associates' educated nurse? Like an ADN could actually teach you anything? LOL

This I understand (BTW, thank you for being considerate enuf to use therapeutic communication with me, it means you really understand and care about us hot guys). I hope you are still talking just chicks ...you are, aren't you? Cause, I'm a total guy, you know. I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY ON ALLNURSES UNDERSTANDS THAT EVEN THO I AM TOTALLY HOT, I AM STRAIGHT!!! --you won't see me wearing any kind of decoration on my white scrubs.

Please dont go down that road.. That is another thread but since you mentioned it. I TOO DO NOT DO DUDES! NO DUDES!

That's the one thing they didnt tell me at Crossfit class and before I started P90X! Everybody wants some of this!

Thats is why I stopped wearing white pants, started covering the Tatts and dont do the bikini underwear thing anymore. (you know, the kind that has like 10pairs crammed into a tube). If someone asks you over for a "late night study session" make sure they are a chick!

Had some visiting doc walking down the hallway going commando some years ago.

I'm going from where I got to look at hot Fire Fighters in bunker gear. I'll need something to lift my spirits when the sunshine and rainbows stop blowing out my ...well maybe I'm not ALL jaded, but I'll still need something to improve the scenery of the SNF.
