I took the boards june 29. I had no problems getting my ATT or anything wrong with my paper work. the rest of my friends waited about 2.5 weeks or less so why is mine (same school) taking longer? i'm nervous but is there a reason to be nervous?

No don't be nervous. I took the boards on July 2 and didn't get my lic. # until the 20th. And that was after calling 5 times. I called twice last friday and spoke to the same woman, (who had an attitude both times) but my number was up later on that day. Just harrass them. dial extension 280 so you can avoid that guy. (I spoke to him too, lol)
ETA: Two friends that i went to school with took the boards after me but received their #'s before me. That is what sent me into full harrass mode, lol. - Jul 27, '12 by abiklagsQuote from myRN85ya I may have spoken to that lady last friday too. she said it would be up sometime this week but this week is over. got the guy today on the 280 extensionNo don't be nervous. so not helpful. and ppl who took it after me also go it up before me which is SO unfair!
did they tell you why it was taking so long? - Jul 27, '12 by myRN85Quote from abiklagsThey told me it was because a lot of people are taking the NCLEX and they have been overwhelmed. The first 3 times I called, they told me "next week" each time...I guess you just have to get them to the point where they are tired of hearing from you. I told them I had a job prospect and that I would lose the position if I didn't get my license number. It's frustrating, but don't give up!ya I may have spoken to that lady last friday too. she said it would be up sometime this week but this week is over. got the guy today on the 280 extension

@dogoodthengo, no thats not my ssn. - Jul 29, '12 by meluvsqukiIf you have a job lined up and u just passed the NCLEX, theres a form u can fill out from HR that can accelerate the licensure process. Ask ur HR and u can fill out the form and HR will file the from to NYS BON.
