NYS BON very unhelpful-lic question

according to the NJ site, it takes 6-8 weeks for license by endorsement. I dont know how long NY takes

I have been dealing with the NYS BON too. I took my boards on July 2. I still have not been licensed. The man I talked to the first time stated that there were no problems with my application and I WILL be licensed, NYS BON has "no help" and that they were behind 3 weeks. He even stated that I should be "coming up soon" and that "tomorrow or Monday" I should be processed. So, I kept checking the site, called the following Wed (this past). This time, I told the woman that answered that I was told my license would be processed by Monday and it wasn't. She gave me a bit more information and stated that the BON had "changed the rules" and that I would not have even been able to take my NCLEX exam when I did if they hadn't - in other words I would still be waiting to take the exam if it weren't for them accepting Form 1. She also told me that they are behind and receive 2000 applications per week. I let her know about my pending job offer (good to know I am not alone!). She said perhaps a week - I can only hope...

ya they told me that too. they released the ATT before the form 1 was processed so we wouldnt have to wait for the ATT. when I called Monday (last week) they said they were up to May 15-16. our school sent our stuff on May 18th. hope you get it soon

I had the same problem!! I called the BON and asked when I would receive my license # and they said "...Not sure exactly we are working on it." Then I said, "I have an interview tomorrow and I really need it." The lady put me on hold and when she came back she had my license # ready. Crazy, right?? Maybe you could try the same thing? Hope this helps.
