Did anyone attend this school, or know any info. about their LPN program?

It's more convenient for me to attend this school, and was hoping it was a good school. I think its free or at least cheaper than most schools out there. So i was wondering if they had clinicals, and were thorough with material, and so on...?

Well, any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

I got my test date today in the mail. Mine is on March 2nd... any1 else with the same date?

Specializes in Critical Care.

Also 3/2 here.

They both are certified program. From what i have heard,The professors in the balc are not very helpful. So, students must study by themselves. Maybe the balc is cheap, the reason why they don't care about them.

o ok im actually a pre nursing student for the MMALC/BALC. i keep asking myself is nursing really for me. i believe i can do it. my greatest challenge would be coping with seeing people skill. idk thoe any advice?:uhoh21:

If anyone is interested: BOCES on LI (Nassau County) began giving the LPN program again last year I believe. My friend is taking the entrance exam pretty soon. She lives in Far Rockaway which is almost as difficult as traveling from Brooklyn. (its a bit more of a hike than VEEB in Uniondale is) The classes fill quickly, so if its an option for anyone try to look into it as soon as you can. Their website now has the info.

I got accepted for the 2008-2009 BOE LPN program. The cost is $2300 for the entire program. It's quite a challenge to get in the program, there is the CNET exam, TABE exam, Medical Forms, Interview to be taken.

I am excited. I start on Sept 3rd.....
