BROOKLN ADULT LEARNING CENTER-LPN Program

Did anyone attend this school, or know any info. about their LPN program?

It's more convenient for me to attend this school, and was hoping it was a good school. I think its free or at least cheaper than most schools out there. So i was wondering if they had clinicals, and were thorough with material, and so on...?

The Veeb is another lpn school locate in Nassau County L.I.

I am trying to take two entrance exam in both school. which means, i want to get lucky in one of them.

o yeah ur right i remember now. a friend told me that he we to that school a couple of years ago. he is now a lpn. do you have there number maybe i c an call them also to keep my options open

Is both the veeb and balc certified programs?

They both are certified program. From what i have heard,The professors in the balc are not very helpful. So, students must study by themselves. Maybe the balc is cheap, the reason why they don't care about them.

Veeb is from September to August. 11.5 months long. Even though it's in Nassau, many people come from Brooklyn and do not drive. They encourage everyone to carpool. If you take the LIRR it's $12 a day so your best best is to give someone who drives some gas money and be on your merry way. Veeb has not started taking any applicants yet. VEEB is accredited. Most people get financial aid, student loans, pay out of pocket, or a grant from Southern NY or 1199. Veeb's entrance exam is easy but the curriculum is hard. You HAVE to study and move quickly through the entrance exam. I didn't mean to hijack BALC's thread, but just helping people who may have questions about VEEB.

Do they ask for references for the brooklyn and manhattan LPN programs?

Well yesterday i went to Veeb in Nassau country. I took the application for the entrace exam the 27th of febrary. But the problem is, i'm not driving. I do not know waht i'm going to do. I'm praying to find someone live in brooklyn so that he or she can carpool with me.

Do they ask for references for the brooklyn and manhattan lpn programs?

I received my C-net study guide today for the BALC entrance exam. Who else is taking this? Let me know when you get your test dates!!

Well, i will taking the Balc exam the 9th of the February at 8 Am in Manhatan.But, i think i'm going to attend the Veeb instead.So, i'm going to take both the 9th and 27 th of this Febrary.:idea:
