BROOKLN ADULT LEARNING CENTER-LPN Program

Published

Did anyone attend this school, or know any info. about their LPN program?

It's more convenient for me to attend this school, and was hoping it was a good school. I think its free or at least cheaper than most schools out there. So i was wondering if they had clinicals, and were thorough with material, and so on...?

Well, any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

trust me there is a lot of ppl that take the test and supposely they only take about 40 ppl in each program n the brooklyn school is associated with two other schools located at 125 st manhattan n one on roosevelt island . the fee for school is a lil more then 2000 . the cnet test was ok . the math reading n grammer was pretty easy only thing i had a problem with was the vocabulary words . i took the test at may i think n it was packed . test is 3 hours but i think its enough i read a lil slow but manage to finish everything just on time . however i had a lot of time left on the math because it was really easy.

I got accepted for the 2008-2009 BOE LPN program. The cost is $2300 for the entire program. It's quite a challenge to get in the program, there is the CNET exam, TABE exam, Medical Forms, Interview to be taken.

I am excited. I start on Sept 3rd.....

When did you take the test?

i took the test in may at washington irving

Could anyone give me advice on the vocabulary section on the test.... I am really good in math but the English part is hard. Help! This is my second time trying for the test. I have my exam march 6th.

For the vocabulary section i would practice from GED books and SAT books as well as any nursing test guides you can find. You can get these books at the libriary or at a books store. Good luck.

did anyone actually got in and graduated from this program. I am currently awaiting my results from cnet. I think i did well enough to pass, keeping my fingers crossed!!
