Thank God i passed but i lost my gf the day before the result

Just want to share what im feelin right now.. MIXED emotions.. :uhoh3: my gf for the past 4 yrs and 8 months broke up with me the other night and yesterday afternon i just received my nclex result and just passed the said examination.. i stopped @ 75 with 4 SATA, 2 computations and lots of MEDS!!!!! never bin heard meds!!!! i feel sad and at the same time feel so blessed.. i still don't want to celebrate.. :balloons: and yet, still praised God for the blessings that i received.. maybe He has a lot bigger plans for me and my x... I just don't loose faith in Him....:nono:

passing the nclex is something really really big. i know its hard to undergo the after the break up moment but just let your feelings flow, bad or good still your very blessed to passed the nclex! congrats!!!! i wonder how your gf feels now that you are a usrn though;)

I still have sleepless nights.. i tried not to think of it but as of now, i still can't.. luckily there are no kids involve here.. im not yet a dad! Try researching different areas of California and hospitals in those areas via websites. Most hospitals prefer you to apply online via their websites nowadays anyway. You might be lucky enough to find a hospital willing to petition you over since you're already licensed =o) Last option if you don't have family or friends already in California to petition you is using an agency. But since you're already licensed I would try to go about it without an agency. I know someone who went through an agency and passed her boards and got paid so much less than a US grad and her contract was for two years. So be careful with agencies. As said in previous post, research your areas and apply to hospitals. Be aware though that you may have to compromise on where abouts in CA you live but also with retrogression (see International forum) many hospitals are not taking on foreign nurses currently due to the processing times currently of 5 years
