Hi guys! So I take my NCLEX for the third time on next Wed the 18th! :uhoh3: I am freaking out! I have finished almost all of the qbank except for 500 questions with a 73% and my question trainer scores (1-6) are as follows:

1) 63

2) 59

3) 58

4) 60

5) 62

6) 58

I will be doing QT 7 tomr. I would just like to know if anyone has passed with scores like these and how similar the NCLEX was compared to Kaplan. This is my first time using Kaplan and I used ATI in the past. I have also read through the Kaplan book and took the week long course in the classroom. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! :)

Your scores look good. I felt that the NCLEX reflected trainers 6 and 7 the most. Just take your time on 7 and aim for 60%. Try to relax the day before taking the NCLEX and just do a quick review of lab values, infection control and then let your brain rest. You'll do great! Best of luck!

frst time i did nclex...didnt use kaplan and failed @ 265 questions.... Second time i used kaplan ....i passed with 75...i love their decision tree and application questions...everyone is different but my overall qbank score was 53 percent... diagnostic = 63.3 QT1=59 QT2=59 QT3=59 QT4=58 QT5=55 QT6=58 QT7=60, readiness test=61 what i did was pay no attention to scores, but i knew i was getting better/ more comfy with questions and i used lachrity, saunders and nclex 4000 CD...i took my exam 6 mons after I failed the first and passed @ 75 questions..... I think your scores are good and i feel kaplan was way harder then nclex...the sata questions on nclex even appeared easy....i would say i probably got 60 questions right on my nclex out of 75...... also memorize yur lab values...and the infection ctrl mnemonics....peace

Thank you Pooh Bear and passredskins!! I appreciate the feedback!

no problem...keep on doing what you are doing..your scores seem like you are on the right track, and keep on using the kaplan decision tree or what ever strategy u use to answer questions......

and pooh bear is right....dont study nothing a day before the nclex...just relax..i watched a basketball game on TV (yeah lakers lost)....and DO get a good night sleep...eat a good breakfast if your test is in the morning....... and do NOT second guess your self on the nclex..........

Hi there! Im also taking Kaplan on demand and taking my exam in June. Here are my scores as of now:

Diagnostic test: 58

Qt1: 53

Qt2: 67

Qt3: 69

Qt4: 59

I just finished reading my saunders book and still browsing the topics. And also, im using Lacharity too.

Is it true that kaplan is way harder than nclex? I hope everything will be fine. Just pray harder and trust yourself. have faith in our dear Lord. and everything will be possible. :) Just believe in your capabilities. CLAIM IT AND YOU SHALL HAVE IT. congrats in advance! :) God Bless. everything will be paid off soon for you. :)

Don't get all tied up with predictor scores. Instead concentrate on learning the material.

I got between 55% - 65% and answered 2000 questions in 2months. Passed NCLEX at 75 questions. Great investment.

Thanks everyone for all the help! I got a 60 on question trainer 7 and now I will make sure I review the rationales and know my lab values and go over infection control and stuff. I'm thinking positive and praying that Wednesday is the last time I ever have to go through this!!! I am soo ready to move on with my life!

Can you please shed some light on the Content book that Kaplan gives?

is it a good review book, would you reccomend it? any other info is greatly appreciated. thxs

i wouldnt pay too much attention to the scores, make sure you know why you missed what you missed. i wrote down all the answers i missed and medications while i was doing these questions, this helped me out alot

I recently graduated in May and took the Kaplan review course and felt that it was very beneficial. My study plans for NCLEX are to do all of the tests and work on Q-bank questions. I am glad to hear that it is reflective of the actual NCLEX. Getting more and more nervous as the days go by:)
