Odds of passing NCLEX pn with 205 questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello friends!

In the meantime while I'm waiting for the official results to come in the mail, I'd like to know... what are the odds of passing the NCLEX pn with 205 questions?

I know numbers don't indicate pass or fail but I just want to know what the odds are.. If anyone has got up to 205 and passed..

Thanks!!

No one really knows for sure. The NCLEX is such a weird exam. To determine whether you passed/fail, try the PVT: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pearsonvue-trick-does-621075.html

Good luck and hope you passed!

I failed the first time with 203 and passed the second time with 205 it can be done

I've read posts on this forum from people who have passed & gotten all 205 questions. Don't lose hope :)

Hey nursexo,

It probably won't make you feel any better but I recently took the nclex-pn and got 205?'s and PASSED!

I got mostly sata's, priority, delegation?'s

Good Luck, I'm sure you did well :-)

It sure is a weird exam! I don't want to do the PVT... I tried it the last 2 times I took the exam and both lead me to the cc page. I'm afraid it will do it again. Thanks though!! ? I'll continue waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

@Bigmaine33 @Nurse2bKimberly @Nae856Nae - Thank you all so much. I've been hoping and praying. If I don't pass, I will reschedule to take it again in June. Never losing hope!

i had 85 the first time and failed and 205 the second time and failed. i had friends that were the opposite with 85 and pass and 204 and pass. so not sure, if u studied hard im sure u passed, it deff can be done with 205 ?s good luck :)

Oh my...how nerve-wrecking! =/ First time I took it, I stopped at 205 - failed. Second time, I stopped at 176 (I think) - failed.

Can't blame the boards, I didn't take it too serious back then. This time around, I actually studied my butt off and I'm praying praying praying I passed. *crosses fingers*

I took this horrible test last month and got all 205 of the questions. I lefted that center in tears! I got home and did the pearsonvue trick and got the pop up. I thought there was no way I could have pass that test. However, I got my actual results a few days later and I PASSED! GOD IS GOOD! Most of my classmates only got 85 questions. I had a lot of priority questions, infection control and those Select all questions. I felt like the majority of my test were select all questions.

soooo i took the nclex 6-30-12 got all 205 questions. I felt like i was guessing the entire test. I was devastated...i could barely drive home. As soon as i got home, i tried the pvt and got the good pop up. I was some what relieved and anxious to get my official results. I waited and waited researched how many ppl actually passed with all 205 questions and i was relieved that most ppl passed. today (7/2/12) i looked on the GA BON webiste to find that i had a license number!!! i was sooooooo happy i couldnt contain myself!! Stay positive and know that God got you u this far and he wont leave you!!

I took the NCLEX PN on August 20th, 2012, I had the maximum 205 questions. I left the testing center like a zombie, 100% sure that I had failed. I waited two hours and tried the "trick." From these results, I passed, but I didn't believe it until I paid the $7.95 fee to know for sure on Wednesday at noon. I am living proof that you can pass the NCLEX PN with 205 questions =)
