NCLEX-RN testing on March 31st in Ohio!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi, everyone!!

I am close to taking my boards... March 31st! I am getting really excited, possibly to mask my nerves :)! I am testing in Ohio. Does anyone have any suggestions, words of advice, or anything to offer? I am hoping I can continue to focus on reviewing and getting myself mentally prepared for the test. I love these forums because I know that we can all really empathize how each other feels with all this stuff.

Thanks!

Don't cram, focus on your weak areas and do lots of practice questions for the next week. The few days before the exam, just relax and quit studying. Best of luck!

You can get some great advice from the NCLEX forum on here. Go to students and it's under there. Good luck! :)

Keep practicing your questions - at least 100 per day. Look up info that you don't know. Know your labs. I had a list of labs and little facts that I looked at prior to going in to the NCLEX. Do not study the day of the test..relax. And I agree, go to the NCLEX forum - I got some good info there.

Good luck!!!!

Thanks everyone! The nclex forum is great, thank you for telling me about it.

Good luck!

Hi! which part of Ohio you're from? I'm from Parma, hopefully as my ATT arrives, will schedule the soonest at Westlake. Has anyone tried scheduling with only few days prior to her/his exam? I wish there would still be available seats.

Good luck!

Thanks! I'm trying to keep stay positive and studying. It's hard when you hear about or read about a disease and that reminds you you don't know much on that specific disease. I'm a very detail-oriented person so I feel like I need to know everything, yet I know I just have to keep myself focused on the basics at times.

I'm north of the Cincinnati Area. I scheduled nclex on March 7th for the 31st. I only looked at a couple locations to take it... one in the Cincinnati Area had times available on the 29, 30 and 31st and the Dayton Area one only had times available on the 31st. I was surprised, I am thinking it has something to to with the newer version starting April 1st. I took the review course by Mark Klimek in December before taking Hesi-he was amazing, I highly, highly suggest his review course. I am thinking about sitting in the next Cincinnati Area one next weekend before boards. It's free to sit in after your first paid course. Good luck!!
