I am close to taking my boards... March 31st! I am getting really excited, possibly to mask my nerves :)! I am testing in Ohio. Does anyone have any suggestions, words of advice, or anything to offer? I am hoping I can continue to focus on reviewing and getting myself mentally prepared for the test. I love these forums because I know that we can all really empathize how each other feels with all this stuff.
hey everyone! I had 75 questions yesterday and still do not know anything! Praying for a pass!!! I did the PVT trick and got a good pop but I can't let myself get excited until I know for sure. good luck to everyone who is yet to take it. I will post when I find out!!! Ahhh :)!!!

If you have a SSN it can take anything from 3 days to 6 weeks to see name on BRN website. Also don't forget BRN closes a few extra days a month (believe it is every Friday)
Instructions on how to do it, is listed in the red font on the very first page, first thread of the discussion. Good luck. Basically what you're doing is re-registering for the test through Pearson Vue and and if the registration process lets you get to where you can put in your credit card information to pay for the test, then that means you failed and if you get a pop up that tells you to contact your board member because another registration can't be made, then that means you passed. But you just have to make sure that your test status on the pearson vue portal says "delivery successful." Full instructions are on the link if you're curious. I've used it 2 times with accurate results. CC page means fail, good pop up means pass. Good luck.
hi tracy 12...did you already recieved your result or seen your name on california BON website...? i took the exam the same day as yours..i've been checkin my name on california BON website but my name is still not there...i guess failed...
this is my story...this is my 2nd try to take the nclex rn...i took my exam the exact day i was about to deliver my baby hahaha...so honestly i was not able to concentrate...after a year i took my exam again...but,its so hard to juggle my role as a single mom and reviewing especially if im not getting the enough support i need...during the exam, i was so tired because im the one taking care of my baby...i finished my exam for less than an hour with 75 questions... i was totally shocked to see that i finished my exam first...I regret not taking my time during the exam...i should have read the questions twice or thrice before answering....some of the questions are easy but there are also hard questions but i know for sure i got so many questions wrong... i had 7 meds questions, 4 SATA, 2 psych but mostly infectious diseases...
hmmm, if i failed i really do not know what to do anymore...i really do not want to juggle my time between reviewing and taking care of my baby becuase i think i'm taking one for granted and i do not want to be unfair to my baby...
well, im still praying i passed for my baby's future and so that i can have the money to paY for her day care hahaha..
i tried the PVT...it keeps on saying that their records shows that i just have recently scheduled this exam and i should contact my board of nursing for further assistance...is this a good sign? waiting for the result makes me crazy...i still don't see my name on california BON website...i took my exam last tuesday...april 30,2010...any insights pls... i really need to pass this exam for my baby....pls.pray for me..thank you
