Which answer would you choose and why?

2. Unsanitary drinking water is a leading cause of illness in developing countries, bottled water is clean and free of pathogens.

2. Unsanitary drinking water is a leading cause of illness in developing countries bottled water is clean and free of pathogens.[/quote']

reread the question: indicates FURTHER teaching is necessary

4.i shouldnt eat any soups or drink iced drinks while iam gone.

there is no reason why they should stop eating soup or drink iced drinks

I would pick 4 because there is no reason that you should stop eating soups. You should be able to eat almost anything.

I am picking #1,related to cooking in water.

#2 is correct

#3 Is unknown food so I would not eat it.

#4 Is the ice could be unpurified water.

I'll be curious to hear the answer!

#1 - good - cooked veg is what you want to eat, raw veg (and raw fruits without skins, like berries) you should avoid

#2 - good - don't drink tap water

#4 - good - soups might/might not be ok, but avoid iced drinks as the ice is made with tap water

I would select #3 as needing more teaching. Part of the experience of going to new places is trying new foods, and depending on where you go there might not be anything that is familiar. Further teaching would be what kinds of food/drink to avoid - tap water, food that was washed in tap water, raw seafood, etc.
