NCLEX PN -- Stopped at 85 questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello!! I just took the NCLEX PN today, and I felt like I knew absolutely nothing. I even felt like getting up and leaving in the middle of the test. UGGHHHH...anyways, the last question, I know I answered correct..What does it mean when you get 85 questions? Does it mean anything? Any reply would help!

Thanks,

Kelly

Sorry, but the number of questions means absolutely nothing.

i hear you kelly. I just took my Nclex -PN and felt overwelmed. Mine stopped at 85 too. Only time will tell, but i don't feel to good about it.

The number doesn't tell you anything. However, I just passed mine and whem mine stopped I knew the last one I answered was correct. It probably doesn't mean anything, but it made me feel better. Hopefully it'll help you too. Good luck!

Yes I passed! I knew two days afterwards!

Kelly

good job!!!!!:balloons: :balloons:

The reason why it stopped at 85 questions is that you reached the level at which the computer could determine your level of knowledge. People will pass or fail at 85 or pass or fail at 205 (I forgot the highest number for the PN, sorry).

I'm sorry, but you'll just have to wait and see. There are sooo many people who come out of that test feeling like they know nothing, felt they've absolutely bombed the test only to find out two days later that they've passed.

Best of luck to you!
