  1. Yes I passed! I knew two days afterwards! Kelly
  2. I used the Saunders 2nd edition CD and Mosby's Eyles Review. I also went over my notes from school, but I don't think any amount of studying, besides learning the format, helps. That test was the most difficult test I have ever taken in my life Anyways, I'm glad its over!!!
  3. I just got my results from the online state board of nursing! I passed at 85 and I FEEL GREAT!!!!! :balloons: :rotfl: KELLY!! LPN!
  4. Hello!! I just took the NCLEX PN today, and I felt like I knew absolutely nothing. I even felt like getting up and leaving in the middle of the test. UGGHHHH...anyways, the last question, I know I answered correct..What does it mean when you get 85 questions? Does it mean anything? Any reply would help! Thanks, Kelly
  5. I am an LPN in a long term care facility and I make 16.35 an hour, so I think that would be possible :)
  6. Hello! How are you? Ok, as a new graduate LPN, I am currently making 16.35 here in the good ole' state of West Virginia. I work 64 hour weeks, work my butt off, sending patients to the hospital, suctioning, passing meds, doing admissions, assessing patients. How could anyone not call me a "real nurse?" I am very proud of what I am doing. I remember someone telling me (on one of my first clinical days) whenever I commented to another LPN that was training me....I thought you were an RN, you're just an LPN and you're that good? That LPN stopped me right there in my tracks, and said, "First things first, you're not JUST an LPN." I am a very importan part of this hospital. I've been called everything from a low paid nurse, to a licensed practical nut, but I'll tell you what. I am highly respected. Thanks! :)
  7. Hey guys, in a year I will have my LPN, but i also have an associate degree in computer programming, could I do something like this? Thanks!
  8. i am a new nursing student from wv, and am pleased to be from the beautiful state. (anyone who doesn't appreciate our state needs to get over to the beautiful mountains in randolph county) anyways, i am glad to discuss some issues :)
  9. hi all! i got in trouble too a long time ago when i very first turned 18 when i made a dumb mistake. anyways, when i got fingerprinted, i was scared to death, but since i didn't violate my parole, and pay off everything, i was fine. it does worry you though. you can call the local state for answers. :) hope this helps!:uhoh21: :uhoh21:
  10. Thanks a million, then do I save it to my browser and upload it ? :)
  11. Hey, I like all of you guy's avatars, how do I find just a regular looking picture of a woman like you guys are ? i'd appreciate any answer thanks!
  12. I am a certified pharmacy technician, if anyone needs help with anything, don't feel bad to ask. I am starting this nursing thing too so I may need some help from time to time :)
  13. :balloons: hello guys!! i am new to this board, but want to start a survey, or at least reply, you don't have to give your name. i am a current student in lpn school, but want to do a survey on pay, which would probably be helpful to a majority of people. 1. state your city you live in 2. what kind of nursing care you do 3. lpn/lvn/rn 4. rate of pay maybe some of us new nursing students can get an idea of what we're looking at! thanks :chuckle
