Hello fellow NCLEX takers ... I wanted to start a chat for everyone taking the NCLEX in October ... let's motivate each other. When you need a pick me upper let's check up on each other. What are you using to prepare for the NCLEX? What date in October are you taking the NCLEX? Are you taking NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN?

I'll start with me. My name is Nadia and I'll be taking the NCLEX PN on October 13th. This will be my fourth time to take the NCLEX ... the last time I took the NCLEX was in 2008. I had to take a required refresher course in Florida in order to be eligible to sit for the exam again ... I did that and also did clinical which I absolutely love because I didn't get the same experience when I was in school. I have been using Saunders, just recently completed the Hurst Live Review (which I absolutely loved) and I will be purchasing U World. I've learned so much in the past year and so motivated to start my career. I do work a full time and I am a Team Lead so I have a hectic day almost every singe day. I have no choice but to make time when I get off to study from 7pm until I get tired and that may be 11 pm or 12 am. If I'm too tired to look at the computer then I'll plug in my headset and listed to the Hurst audio and put it in my long term memory as they call it lol. Hoping to hear from others as I love reading this forum getting different ideas from other fellow nclex takers.

Yes I remember you ... how's everything going? Aww man I wish I knew but I already purchased Hurst so far loving it ... I'm learning contents like no other and I just started U World ... well it's official I have 30 days from today to be prepare for the beast. When will you be testing?

Well guys, its officially 30 days before my NCLEX date so from here on out I told myself no more social media (e.g, FB & IG) I'll be on all nurses during my work hours and after work all communications off .. I've also decided no TV and I think that's going to be the biggest hurdle for me but when you are determined you have to do things that make you uncomfortable to get the goals accomplished. Wishing everyone great success on the NCLEX ... Prayers going up for everyone whether you're going for RN or PN xoxoxo. ;)

I'm doing good, trying to study as much as I can. When i paid my registration online the boards sent me the package of replying , by doing live scan again , sending my school transcript and other stuff again . Once i get my ATT i will schedule for the test .. getting nervous . i hope i pass this time. are you nervous taking the test?

Yes I am getting more nervous day by day ... my goodness it's crazy ... my anxiety is starting to get the best of me but I'm praying for the man upstairs to decease my anxiety level ... yea I had to do the live scan for Florida. Hopefully you get your att soon and can schedule right away

lol i know how that feeling is, but i know you can do it and pass this test, i hope your ok with the hurricane that happen in florida and be safe out there. Atleast you will get your result quicker than us in California . we have to wait 2 weeks to receive our results.

Hey ! Are you still taking in October ? I'm nervous too ! Been studying everyday at 8am sharp lol that's how nervous I am to study as soon as I get up

I live in GA right now but my family is still there and everyone is ok. Thank goodness. We got a lot of rain and wind here in GA and did not lost power so a lot to be thankful for. Yes thank goodness for Quick Results .. it's already crazy waiting 48 hrs and you have to deal with 2 weeks so not cool. When you get your date set, try to make plans for those 2 weeks to keep your mind off of it but that's easier said than done. I pray you get your results sooner than 2 weeks. Thank you for the motivation and you can do it as well. We got this!!!!

Yes I am taking it October 13th ... Wow I wish I could study that early but I have the whole week off the week of my test and I'll be doing the same. Yea the nerves are really getting to us but I say the more nervous we are the more determined we are. When are you testing in October?

Not gonna give exact date lol I'm scared lol but 2 week of October also ! What materials are you using ?

LOL I feel you .. I didn't want to either mbecause I didn't want people asking me how did you do ... how did you feel but I ended up giving my date lol ... I'm using Hurst and UWorld now ... I also have Exam Cram PN and PDA by Lacharity

I've already done hurst and uworld and now focusing on ncsbn review . The best one out of all of them so far . And going to do pda last . When I'm bored I do nclex mastery
