Hello fellow NCLEX takers ... I wanted to start a chat for everyone taking the NCLEX in October ... let's motivate each other. When you need a pick me upper let's check up on each other. What are you using to prepare for the NCLEX? What date in October are you taking the NCLEX? Are you taking NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN?

I'll start with me. My name is Nadia and I'll be taking the NCLEX PN on October 13th. This will be my fourth time to take the NCLEX ... the last time I took the NCLEX was in 2008. I had to take a required refresher course in Florida in order to be eligible to sit for the exam again ... I did that and also did clinical which I absolutely love because I didn't get the same experience when I was in school. I have been using Saunders, just recently completed the Hurst Live Review (which I absolutely loved) and I will be purchasing U World. I've learned so much in the past year and so motivated to start my career. I do work a full time and I am a Team Lead so I have a hectic day almost every singe day. I have no choice but to make time when I get off to study from 7pm until I get tired and that may be 11 pm or 12 am. If I'm too tired to look at the computer then I'll plug in my headset and listed to the Hurst audio and put it in my long term memory as they call it lol. Hoping to hear from others as I love reading this forum getting different ideas from other fellow nclex takers.

Update. I took my exam today and passed with the minimum questions, this was my 1st try after being out of school for almost 4 yrs. I promise you prayer n faith works !!!! I want to bless someone with my books n study material, trying to to figure out how I can go about doing this and choosing the correct person.

Hello There! I am Rianne I just took the NCLEX last October 03,2017 in Philippines and my state is Florida. I passed the examination for first time. This is the preparation that I have done. I registered through CGFNS verify documents last March 06,2017, ordered Saunders Comprehensive Book I read the whole book it is quite boring but then you must start reading first from the top while processing documents. After I finished the whole book from April 20 2017- June 2017 I borrowed the book of SAUNDERS Q & A and answered I finished the the Q & A Book last July. and bought NCBSN Learning EXT I am not quite satisfied with the rationales etc. I finished the NCBSN for 1 month. Starting August I bought the uWORLD Q & A and its the best material ever I tried. The questions are tough. But it will teach you how to attack the questions. 2 days before the exam October 1 & 2 I didn't review. I just played Mobile Legends, enjoyed myself with my family. My mother is waiting for me down the Pearson VUE Manila. My computer shut down at 175 question. uWORLD is like the Dejavu of NCLEX I strongly advised subscribing which they have assessment at the end to see if you're chance of passing is high or low. October 3,2017 after my exam I went out of the testing center nervous. I ride the cab going to mall and while on way I did the Pearson VUE trick. and reregistered. Says "you are currently registered and cannot make any new registration at this time" which they said it is a "good pop up". The following day October 08,2017 I went through Board of Nursing and have seen my name with "PASS". After 48 hours I went to Pearson vue trick and it says UNOFFICIAL Pass. Now I am just waiting for the letter coming from BON. My Advise is that take uWORLD plan ahead time. focus don't over think. Pray.!

Thank you! I used the study guide that floating around in here, if you look up summit college Spider-Man packet there are 7 days worth of vids vids of and instructor going over each thing in detail. I also study questions that where geared towards more of ncsbn test plan. I focused more on critical thinking then content and knowing how to break a question down. Kaplans strategy book helped a lot too

Congrats to you!!!! Its an amazing accomplishment. I took it October 5th at 8 am, still no result. Checked my name but nothing. Since California doesn't participate on the quick result, I just have to wait for something in the mail i guess. I got 75 questions and felt pretty good about it too. Then i came home and tried to do the trick and my cc got charged. Then this morning i went to my breeze account, and there was an option for retake/reapply application. At this point i am thinking it's a negative result.Since all my classmates who have passed found out within 2 days. I am so bummed. It has been so stressful to study with a 1 yr old. I studied with UWORLD, and kaplan. I was so confident with uworld, heard a lot of positive results about it. I don't know anymore. So disappointed, and angry at myself. Talked to one of my friend who failed. She said, not to give up until for sure. She got her letter in the mail. Any word of encouragement is appreciated.

Hey ladies . I took my nclex today and I did the pvt trick and getting the good pop up . I checked it 5 hours after test so fingers crossed !!!!

I PASSEDD !!!!!! I found out today and took it yesterday . Pvt trick works !!! I barely had SATA everything was triage and delegation and priority no math !!! I thought I failed because it stopped at 133 questions but my license posted this morning !!!! Let me know if anyone needs tips , used hurst, pda lacharity , ncsbn , nclex mastery and in the past I used uworld . Second time test taker and passed !!! Just stay on it and study everyday !!!!
