Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I graduated nursing school (BSN) in December 2013. I took boards in Feb. 2014 and failed with 265 questions. I retook boards in May 2014 and failed with 265 question, even with doing a review course (hurst).

I am now working in clinical research (a new job) and it is September 2014....I have become so bitter about nursing and don't know if I should ever retake the exam. I know the further you get out the harder it is....I am thinking that I should go for it because maybe the third time is the charm?!?! Please help...any advice for studying, reading blogs, or anything really!!!

I feel really ashamed and embarrassed not having my passed boards

I'm only a pre nursing student but I say take it! You got through nursing school. You dealt with so much to get here! Take it:)

do not give up I am taking nclex 5 times already and failed I need new tips to passing the board.

I moved your thread from the post-graduate forum to the NCLEX discussion forum for best response. Good luck!

Dont ever give up! I graduated spring of 2013 and have taken the nclex more than 3x over the past year. I finally passed this July and know that all through the tears it wss worth it. Trust me bitter doesn't even to begin how ive felt about my failing so many times but those days (45 in ny) you have to remediate really focus and have no distractons. Message me if you need anything!

DON'T give up!! You went through the stress and trials of nursing school and passed that, so you can pass the NCLEX, too. I say dedicate some time to really studying. You may need help with content and THEN practice how to answer questions. I wouldn't rush it, though...really take the time to study and learn the content in areas in which you are lacking.
