If you have the blue kaplan review book there is a section in the back of the book with an awesome review of various medications. The medication is catergorized and it is easy to remember.
I only studied medications with the kaplan blue book and i believe I passed the nclex the 2nd time because of this.
I too am finding that there are TONS of drugs I have never seen or heard of in my review book. The only reason I think I am getting some of the questions right is because I guess. Sooner or later my luck is going to run out any suggestions ? A girl in Barnes and Noble told me to buy the Kaplan med cards that worked for her.... Ugh
I used a Springhouse Nurses Drug Guide 2007 and in the back it came with a pharm disk that had Nclex style of questions.
I know i have seen other drug books with disks in the back too, check your s out and see if it has questions on it.
I would try and do about 20 questions a day out of my pharm book.
FYI I only a few drugs on my Nclex, one was Viagra.(FYI you cant take two in a day!!!--I missed that one!)..the other was morphine. I dont remember if I had any others. I really didnt think my Nclex had many pharm questions...

Seriously. I'm at a loss of what to do.
There is soooo much weird, random stuff that shows up in practice NCLEX tests that I have no idea what to review for the actual test. Aside from diabetes related drugs... Are there any actual guidelines to study by? Does anyone have any hints or tips that have helped them out? Anything would be appriciated! Please! :bowingpur
