  1. Congrats and good luck! :hpygrp: :ancong!: :hpygrp:
  2. Do not fool your self. Your adviser probably talked about the list of the labs from the NCLEX test plan:nono: Here it is: "Laboratory Values Know laboratory values for ABGs (pH, PO2, PCO2, SaO2, HCO3) BUN, cholesterol (total) glucose, hematocrit, hemoglobin, hemoglobin A1C (HBA1C), platelets, potassium, RBC, sodium, urinespecific gravity and WBC Recognize deviations from normal for values of albumin (blood), ALT (SGPT), ammonia, AST (SGOT), bilirubin, bleeding time, calcium (total), cholesterol (HDL and LDL), creatinine, digoxin, ESR, lithium, magnesium, PTT and APTT, INR, phosphorous/phosphate, protein (total), PT, urine (alb, pH, white blood cell count [WBC] and differential)" And that's it. YOu can find them in Sounders. It will be enough.
  3. You did everything right except... Did you do 4500 questions from Sounders CD after you finish with the textbook? As I learned from this forum, you have to give your self about 47 - 50 days only to do CD, each and every day about 100 questions. If you do not know some answers, make notes, study them at the same day and repeat next day or so, and than repeat next week. I also did Mosby and that's it. And I know that many did Suzanne's plan, it is free, try it.
  4. i think sounders is enough. try to study meds in groups, what are they for, and the side effects. and watch for the clues, use elimination process. if the question asks you about adverse effect and the three answers are all about say "itching", choose "high blood pressure".
  5. Thank you 2bRNSS22. I wish you to pass too.:redpinkhe:redpinkhe:redpinkhe Thank you patrickmorales and gwafuh 2busrn :redpinkhe:redpinkhe I wish everybody from our group to pass:redpinkhe
  6. Hi everybody and congrats who passed. I took my test on Friday with 76 qs. This morning (Sunday) I went to pearsonvue and the result was ready already. I paid for the service and here it is ……I PASSED. Thank you this forum especially April group. I was so nervous that I could not participate much in May group. Sorry guys. As guys from April group told already, please focus on infection control, prioritizing, and watch for grams and oz when doing math. I did Sounders CD 4-th edition about 85-140 qs a day, read my notes several times, and did Mosby (about 2/3 of it, what a great book, I was so glad that I was told to buy it), and a lot of prayers. I would say that the test was user friendly. I did not feel like they want to trick me or give me a hard time. But it was not easy ether. I wish everybody good luck.
  7. CONGRATS SHABANS!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me please how did you get the results? through Pearson vue or on your nursing state web site, or both?
  8. :yeah: How did you get it? Through Pearson vue?
  9. Genny is a RN, BSN, MPA :ancong!:
  10. Hi niknham! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! How many Qs did you have and how much time did you spend? Do you think that Sounders helped you a lot this time? Was it like Sounders?
  11. i checked both eds. the labs are the same. however there are some changes in cpr that drove me nuts bc i did not know about it. like compressions and breathe ration. it is 30:2 now instead of 15:2:bugeyes: better to buy the 4-th ed. i bought mine at half.com for 50 bucks:up:.
  12. If you go further and make a table, You'll see some similarities and differences and I hope it'll help to remember.
  13. thank you for our answer. i would like to know will it come by email or regular mail:bugeyes: and how quick it usually comes after registration with pearsonvue?
  14. Thank you W Padre. I got an email from the BON wiht positive result and registered with Pearsonvue but still waiting for ATT. What is it ATT, by the way? Will it come as email or in a regular mail?
