HELP! 76 Q's. Pass or Fail?

Nursing Students NCLEX

So today I took the NCLEX and I felt I did okay. I do not feel 100% confident I passed. I got to question 75 and it was a math question that I know I got right. Then I got question 76 and without reading it, I went and took a break to clear my mind. I came back and after I answered 76 it shut off. I am sure I got that question right. I did research after the NCLEX and know for sure I did answer it correctly. So what are my chances that I passed the NCLEX after knowing I got 75 & 76 correct!?? This wait is killing me and I just need some opinions!

Did you search the NCLEX forum? There are tons of post on this very topic. You getting the last two questions right doesn't determine whether you passed or failed. They were just two questions on your exam. I don't know where people get this idea.

Yes I have read the forum and a lot of them are based on people passing and failing on 75 so didn't know if 76 meant anything in particular ..

It meant the computer could not determine pass or fail with a 95% confidence interval until your 76th response. Nothing more nothing less

The computer determined after answering 75 questions whether the person pass or failed. People pass and fail all the time with any number of questions. People think there is this magical thing that if they get questions 75 right and then the rest stops that they have passed.

I know there are people who got question 76 right (like you, they looked up the answer) and failed. Wait until quick results are available if your state participates or check your BON website to see if you passed.

If you all really think about it, why would it take you to #76 and shut off after that question after you got it right other than because you passed? If you with absolute certainty got #76 right, why else would it shut off if it determined you failed? In other words, if you are still in the game you won't get kicked out for getting a question right.

That chances of you passing id say are 50-50

~90% of US educated nurses pass first attempt so the odds of passing are greater than 50-50

Where you wanting people to tell you that there is no way you failed? Is that the confidence boost you were looking for? You either passed or failed. You asked for opinions and that's what you got.
