I would wait for official results. Did you go to the credit card page? Did the questions seem like they were only knowledge and comprehensive based and not application and analysis? They're are people who think they fail, abs they end up passing!

I feel really bad for you. Right now you are feeling disgusted but don't let it ruin all the hard work you have put in. It is okay to express anger or sadness because it is a viable emotion. It is your right to expel the bad feelings by expressing them, but at some point you need to accept what has happened and move along.

So for right now don't give up hope, the PVT could be wrong. If it does end up being correct then wait for the test results that will be mailed to you. Come back here and share the results and see if one of us can help with a study plan. You can get through this, just don't lose hope.

Maybe I'm off base. But your username is "4mykids" ... What are you teaching them by just...giving up. You did the hard part. You got through school...and now you're just going to quit...without even knowing what your results are? I'm sorry. I know you're upset right now and you want to vent but ... Saying you're never going to take it again? You're selling yourself short and wasting years of money and education. And when your kids are asked what you do "well....she has a degree in nursing....but she didn't believe in herself enough to use it". Not a great message. You're smart enough to do this...you've already proven that. So get your results, find out what to study, and then try try again!

Just wait for the results. I know you will test again and that you are upset. It will be alright. When is the start date for the job? Most states allow you to retest in 45 days.

I had a classmate that got the cc page and passed. Does your state do quick results? PV went down over the weekend for maintenance, they may have fixed the "glitch" so that the cc page doesn't work anymore.

At any rate, I agree with the others on this page, many good nurses passed it after the first fail, and you deserve to give yourself another chance.

Sorry you are going through this. Hugs. But you will get through this. Take a couple days to mourn. Wait for the official results. And if you did not pass. Regroup. Take it again. And you will find another job.

Wish i wouldve joined this group before i took the test...thank you all for the kind words and encouragement but im not doing it again...this job i really wanted and now its gone...i did 100 questions a day on the kaplan site and book however still too dumb to pass the exam;

Don't give up!!!!! YOU ARE NOT DUMB!!!!!! YOU GOT THROUGH NURSING SCHOOL!!!!!! You're just really discouraged right now and once this spout is over I pray you can get your mind right and get right back in the game!!!! This is just a small bump in the road!!!! You've got this!!! Keep your head up!
