California NCLEX-RN takers!

I took NCLEX - RN on 7/24/14 in CA. I finished in 75 questions. I did the PVT a couple hours later and got the good pop-up. My name and license were on Breeze on 7/26/14 (to my surprise).

A friend of mine took it in June, passed with 75 questions and her name and license showed on Breeze 9 days later. She got her paper license 14 days later.

Congrats to you and your friend!!! Still waiting for my license to show up since taking NCLEX on July 21 in CA. I decided to call the BRN to see if maybe they didn't receive my transcripts and that is the reason for the delay. I was told they can't tell me if they received them or not until the evaluator puts in my results of the NCLEX. She said I was able to test because I was on my schools roster. Those that get their results within 48 hours were able to test because their transcripts were evaluated and in the system prior to taking NCLEX. I let her know that just seems strange because we applied at the same time and our transcripts were sent at the same time. Oh well, nothing to do but wait. She said worst case scenario it would be the second week of August before I get the results. The only piece of hope I have is that I get the good pop-up from Pearsonvue. Guess I drew the short straw.

I took the NLCEX July 9th in Oakland, got the good pop-up and still NOTHING. Nothing online or by mail. I've called so many times and they tell me that my evaluator technically has until August 9th to finish my file. I'm not sure what to do but drive up there.

These two pieces tell the whole story, in my opinion. The "evaluator" has a month to put in the results, and no one can tell you anything until that has been done. Do they not keep records of how long it should take to input results, and take measures to improve the average time? Lord knows this is done for virtually every aspect of the practicing nurse's process... Is the board not held to the same standard?

It takes a while for the results. But God is Good:)

I took my CA NCLEX on 1/14/16. Still No results. From my research I found out that yes the BRN is behind 1-3 weeks right now. Unfourtunatly my school dropped the ball and didnt send in out transcripts till 1/13/16, and now my results are on hold until they are received... which could be 3-6 weeks!!! ugh! So frustrating. I cant eat, I cant sleep, I cant believe they put their nurses through this psycotic mental game. Sees like otherstates have a much easier time. Wish they knew how sick they make make people just waiting like this... Terrible. Sorry that was my vent.. Good luck everyone.
