Hello everyone,

I'm a 35 year old wife and mother of two children. I was a CNA for 7 years and I have been an LVN for 7 years. I just finished the first semester of a LVN to RN bridge program. I am glad to back in school, it has been hard so far but I have faith that God will bless my classmates and I to graduate on time together c/o 2011 :yeah::nurse:

Have been a LPN for 3 years and am going back to college for my RN, they now have statistics, that's going to be hard for me. I'm going to work 2 days and go to college, I've been told its hard to do the RN program and have a job at the same time. still going to give it a go.

Hi i am a recent LPN grad (July 2010) who has just finished my 2nd week in the RN program at my local community college. I take the NCLEX-PN on monday and am a little nervous.

The PN test is pretty easy, just take your time and remember there will be more than one right answer, pick the best right answer in relation to the question. good luck

My school's program uses ATI so i am not familiar with excelsior, i used ATI website that my instructor's gave us at the beginning of each class it has many good practice questions. The most helpful thing I did was purchase a Saunders NCLEX prep book and did lots of practice on questions that went along with the body systems we were studying.

I just signed up for the LPN to RN through excelsior college and started module 1 on monday. I was kind of skeptical. So how do you like it so far. I really don't know of too many people that are doing it that's why I came to this site to see what I can find out. I live in Wisconsin and I just graduated from the LPN program in May. I took my boards in July. I just started working at the nursing home a few weeks ago. Any tips for the online thing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am a new graduate from Glendale, CA, male, chinese, 27 and awaiting to take my license test. Currently enrolled at Pasadena City College for pre-reqs and looking for schools to enroll into. Hi everyone!

i am a new grad with my new license looking at either Shepard College or Indiana State but I am sketchy about Indiana

I am also a new LPN grad taking my NCLEX next week. I have been accepted and have sent in my deposit for Nazareth College LPN to RN-BS program beginning in Jan 2011. Since I already have a BS should take me about 2 years (I hope)

Why sketchy?

I am an LPN, I graduated in '04. Currently I am taking classes at my local college and working on acceptance into the fasttrack RN program for LPN's. I work part-time in LTC.

I am 51 and have been an LPN for only 4 months! Looking to do my pre-reqs starting in January and then on to an LPN to RN transition program. I worked full time 3 to 11 for three months at a LTC facility and was not getting the support or training from the administration that should have been given...and I am too experienced in life to let that happen for long! Happy to be moving up to RN...more options there.
