Myclassmate is SO irritating!! Ugh!

I'm in LPN school, first semester...The classmate sitting next to me is so flippin' annoying! Let me explain...

First of all, he is very sore at me it seems since I get all A's and he is getting C's on all his tests. I NEVER even showed him my grades and I am very private. I don't like to show off at all. It's not right. But he makes it his job to find out what I got - even knocking me over practically to see my test paper after handed back.

Second of all, he CHEATS! He is always looking at my tests while taking them. Once, the instructor had to leave the room for all of 10 seconds and he blatantly asked me out loud for answers!?!?!

Third, we are all encouraged to participate out loud as much as possible during class (answers questions, whatever) and every time I say something, even the tiniest thing wrong, he starts making a HUGE deal about it - such as saying "tisk tisk" or just yelling "OHHHH! You don't know!!! hahahaha". That's saying a lot since I get straight A's and he is barely passing! But I'd never rub it in his face! That is just RUDE :banghead:

Oh, and for some weird reason, when he does so bady on exams, he always looks at me says it's "all my fault".....? Huh???

The list goes on.....I need to change my seat before I lose my mind!!! Anyone else deal with annoying classmates??

Yes, and to think you can't get away from them!! AHHH! We are stuck with each other till the end. Everyone wants to know everyone's grades in my class too. I hate it, I get good grades too, but that doesn't mean I want to share it with you!

Some people are just rude and they don't even realize it. It is so annoying.

Good luck though, and change your seat quick! You don't want to be caught cheating (even though you are not the one) if he is seen copying off your paper, you can both get in serious trouble!

I wouldn't worry too much about this individual. If he is as bad as you say he is, he'll probably fail his classes due to academic weakness or flunk his clinical rotations as the result of his irritating behavior.

Hang in there. In the real working world of nursing, some of your coworkers will be 100 times worse than this guy.

move your seat and be done with it. I agree, the problem people will drop out eventually, who cares what they think or say...

there is atleast one of these ppl in every class, lol.

i would say to move your seat and just ignore him. like commuter said, if he's as bad as you say--he won't make it thru school anyways.

well you say at least one try five!!!!:banghead: I am so serious. Four of them are a little clique. You know people that dont know what they are talking about but try to make other people think they know everything. My friend says i have this terrible look in my face like" would yall shut up" but i actually be thinking worst. LOL The instructors be looking the same way.

I agree, he sounds very neurotic and insecure, and would annoy me as well.

LPN school is very high school in nature, at least from what I'm currently experiencing.

And the worst part is that many of the people acting up are grown men and women.

Move your seat

Good luck

sometimes its really hard to get the instructors to quiet someone, that usually gets handled amongst the students.

i would pull the teacher in the office and have a private conversation. just to let them know that you need to move your seat and why, most schools have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to cheating and if he asked you a question during an exam when the teacher left the room, you have witnesses.

get away from him, those kinds of people are toxic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to sit near people who do well in class. Works for me. No worries though...this guy and people like him will freak out when it comes time to do a procedure, let alone take the NCLEX!
