Well today I completed my enrollment with Lincoln Tech, Edison NJ will be starting the day full time program. Wanted to know if anyone else would be attending as well?:yeah:

Thats great, they are reworking the entire program. I am currently enrolled in the Day program; 1 week in. The teachers are great so far. Hope you get in! Good luck!!

May I please ask what you mean when you say reworking the entire program???? I attend the paramus campus!

Hi everyone,

I am thinking about attending the Paramus campus, any advice?

What do you think about the program?

I would like to start the Sept class a well. when is the deadline to apply do u know? also what comes on the test?

Well .. on my second attempt - I passed the math portion! woo hoooo .. I HATE math!! lol

My classes begin Sept 15!

I would like to start the Sept class a well. when is the deadline to apply do u know? also what comes on the test?

Not too sure when the deadline is but the test is pretty basic. A lot of algebra and fractions and decimals on the math section and then the reading section. There is no science section that you have to take. Good Luck

I am in my first semester there and it is ok. Just remember that the enrollment advisors are basically sales reps and not everything that they say is true!

Hey Thank you But what I didnt understand was that u said thatthey are all sales rep and dont believe what they say? What did you discover. I have a few questions that i would like to as you (avenellpn82) can you plz email me at [email protected] if you dont mind.

lincoln tech usually gives you a list of places that give the cpr classes and most of them were free but some do have a fee but i don't think it is as much as $100.00 but ask them.i am not attending the edison campus, i will be attending the paramus campus but we can all keep each other posted since we should all be graduating the same time next year:yeah:.good luck ladies.:nurse:

hey nyccutie,

i will be attending the paramus campus starting sept 23rd- day program! just wanted to ask, from the list that we were given to chose the cpr class from, which ones offer the class for free?? that would be such a life saver right now because most of the locations that i called and actually got through to (which weren't wrong #'s or disconnected #'s:nono::madface::down:) were between $80-$120!!. i'm from nyc as well. are the free locations in nyc, nj, or westchester. if you don't mind, which location did you get your certificate from? feel free to email me [email protected]

Hey Gina,

I attended Lincoln Tech(Paramus Campus) and just graduated from the LPN Program. My personal experience with the program wasn't a bad one. Every program has its pro's and con's. With the Paramus campus the primary downside for me was that since the program is so new, from term to term they were constantly both adding and elimenating exams, rules, guidelines etc from the program which meant you had to be on top of your stuff. What wasn't a requirement last term may be mandatory next term which could make or break you.

As far as the financial end goes, I think anyone can aggree that its pretty pricey, but its definately and individual decision one has to make. For myself I needed to get into the workforce sooner than later and I qualified for financial aid and other goverment loans so my final tab is a little less than 1/2 the total tuition. Sure I wouldve prefered to spend 2-3k at a city or community college but when I weigh my options of waiting 1-2yrs versus having a loan or 2 to pay off, I chose the loan.I'm still young, no children etc.And not to mention that year flew by. I can't believe I'm typing this as a graduate nurse when I was just posting as a nursing hopeful looking for a school to attend!!

Anyway,Sorry for the long post. Hope it was helpful.good luck in your future nursing endeavours.
