Well today I completed my enrollment with Lincoln Tech, Edison NJ will be starting the day full time program. Wanted to know if anyone else would be attending as well?
I attended Lincoln Tech in Edison and graduated in March. My class was the second class to graduate. I hear the instructors are good. We had a few, not so good and many that were on the ball. My advise to all is study hard regardless to what you think of the instructors. Your educations is what you make it. Always study like you are studying for the nclex. It will pay off in the end! I did and I passed my nclex without too much studying. A review was all I needed! Good luck guys!
Ljh89 one year of no fun will be worth a lifetime of happiness. I had to turn down many engagements. I wish you all the best. I complained at first when I first went to Lincoln Tech. Since I paid so much money I was expecting to receive IVY League education. NOT! It was average. At times, I felt like I taught myself! But now after passing NCLEX its all behind me. Besides, I hear that others from other college and universityies and other schools have the same complaint. So my advise would be to stay away from the negativity. It takes you away from your focus. You already paid and committed to school so make the best of it. The NCLEX is most important. Study for the NCLEX everyday of your school year. You'll be glad you did! Iam!
Hi BrownQT just a quick question> First of all congrats on your recent graduation :yeah:But i am attending lincoln tech in paramus I was evening part time but was recently laid off :cry:so I am going into the full time day program and get it over with ASAP:nurse:>I was just wondering if you are having any trouble with finding a job after graduation any info would be helpful.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! I just started looking 5/6/09. Put out like 20 resume's and applications. I will keep you posted. I have friends who graduated from Lincoln Tech last December and all who passed nclex are working. So far every potential job I went to, majority were not hiring and most wanted minimum 6 months experience. That didn't stop me from applying. We have to start somewhere!
Lincoln tech usually gives you a list of places that give the CPR classes and most of them were free but some do have a fee but I don't think it is as much as $100.00 but ask them.I am not attending the edison campus, I will be attending the paramus campus but we can all keep each other posted since we should all be graduating the same time next year:yeah:.Good luck ladies.
Newlpn Chic: That was our pinning ceremony. Its graduation to us because we have no intentions on attending the graduation this month. There will be criminal justice grads, medical assistants, etc. We wanted something specific for nurses so went with the pinning ceremony. It was a nice event

The only thing I heard is that there will be two. One the Wednesday before we start classes and one some other time.
