Well today I completed my enrollment with Lincoln Tech, Edison NJ will be starting the day full time program. Wanted to know if anyone else would be attending as well?
Gina,
I personally didn't want to waste any more time, and I had very few other options. If you have other schools in mind that are cheaper, then maybe Lincoln Tech isn't ideal for you.
I have to admit when I saw what the tuition was my mouth dropped but One thing that attracted me to the program was that they have a new starting class every 3months.
If you check my post and the threads I participated in, I had my heart and eyes set on an entirely different program in NY. So when that didn't come through for me I felt I'd wasted almost a year persuing it.
So here I was in May, of 09 bummed that September was approaching, School would start and I'd be back to square one. Then someone told me about Lincoln Tech, I tested July 09 for the September class and the rest is history.
I learned so much about myself and nursing in that 1 short year.
I would recommend it and I'd do it again.
I'm looking forward to working and moving on to my RN. I've definately become more disciplined in my studies and have gained a new confidence.
Lastly, TIME IS MONEY, :). And I hope $$ doesn't get in the way of persuing this career.

Your welcome! I love giving advise and helping others. As you can see, there isn't much about lincon tech on this site so I had no such insight or encouragement.
In any case, good luck with everything, you will find a school and decide what's best for you.
If you choose Lincoln Tech, feel free to ask me any questions about it. I'm no expert but I pushed and made it through the program.
Take Care!!!
They have a remediation program??? That's new to me. When i attended LT, if you failed, they gave you some material to review and there was a 3month limit on retesting. Or something of that nature. What campus?
To answer your question though I kno a few students who didn't pass the entrance exams on the 1st try but did very well in the program. It's doable!
Hey i am new to allnurses.com >>>> I am taking the TEAS at lincoln tech this saturday and i have been studying....i just need some advice on the type of questions and how easy or hard it is? also is there any science on it?? and is it all multiple choice?
Hi I'm taking the TEAS exam tomorrow at lincoln tech as well. What campus are you taking it at? Did you find out any further info about the exam? Good luck!

thanks for that message.. I have been going back n forth about yes paying that much i passed the testing and i can start in december.. like you i want to get in and out.. i am much older than you 31 no kids not married just moved to jersey i have heard the program is pretty good.... i qualified for a grant about $5,500 they said i can apply for a stafford loan and a personal loan.. I heard that nj may have a state government loan as well if that is the case and you end up getting half off the tution paid off great. I believe they said you dont have to start paying back the loan until 6mths after you graduate....??? thanks again and congratulations on becoming a graduate im sure it feels great
