Hello Fellow Future :nurse:s,

I am looking at all these different apps (#teamandroid) on my tablet for A&P, pharmacology I, and fundamentals and don't know where to start.

Does anyone have any apps they love/hate?

I just started with skyscape. Looks good so far. Still trying it out. Hopefully someone else has seen it

Search lippincott in the App Store. I'm not sure what android has because I have an iPhone but I found a ton of great lippincott apps for free or practically free. They were a life saver when I came to doing practice tests.

Cool, thanks. My school is pushing for us to get the skyscape, so is it worth the money? I might get it.

So far I like skyscape but I am using the free part of it trying to decide if I'll pay for it. Which of course means I will. My school is also wanted us to use it

Your going to need it when you do clinical I know they sent us a letter say we would use it then

Quizlet has helped me. A lot of times you can search like the textbook title or author, like most of our classes are with Rosdahl, so I look up Rosdahl chapter 23 and people have already put in questions and definitions in but I learn it's better to make your own questions from my notes. They have matching, index cards, and not on the phone app but on the computer it'll make a test to help you practice.

PN Mastery- it's an NCLEX app and it's incredible. Get the paid version- it's definitely worth it!

Skyscape is great- I use that in lieu of toting my drug book around all of the time.

I second NCLEX PN mastery. I didn't start using it until I graduated from Lvn school to study for the NCLEX, but if i could go back in time, I'd use it to study for exams in school.

In fact, I do use it to augment my studying in my Lvn - RN program.

One of my tried and true favorites is "pocket lab values", for lab values, and possible interpretations for critical or abnormal values! I stumbled across it while in nursing school in '13, and have used it since. Simple, clean user interface, easy to use, and has just about everything you'd want to know. I have an iphone, and I can't remember how much it was, (I think less than $5..) but its so worth it.
