I know!!! some of these salaries I am just amazed by! I actually made around $14/hr as a CNA.

You have to remember the cost of living for the States with the higher/lower payscales.
West Virginia's cost of living is far below what the cost of living is in Connecticut, New York etc.
And just a tidbit, our CNA's in my facility make approx $15/hr.

In alberta, Canada the starting wage is right around 22.00/hr.. We are the lowest paid province in Canada!

That sounds like a job I'd like to try. The salary is pretty much in line with what I make now but no drivng to and from.

West TN 14.50 an hour, really expensive premium for health insurance, some want 300.00 to 800.00 each month, with 20/80. This is to start, our economy to live is pretty low, though.
