  2. Hey, I don't know if this thread is still active but it came up when I did a search for information about the NAPNES Pharm Exam. I am wondering how long it took for the people that took the test to get their test ID info after mailing in the application and money. I sent in my paperwork the first week of November. My check cleared on Dec 10th. I still haven't heard from them I have emailed them, and no reply. I was starting to think it was a scam until I saw these posts. Please let me know how long you guys had to wait to get your test IDs. Thanks!!!
  3. I don't know why you haven't gotten a reply from anyone yet, so I will do my best to answer. I am an LPN. It took 1 year (2 semesters) of full time school (Mon-Fri, 8-3, to get my LPN at a community college. An RN (at the same community college) is 4 semesters (2 years). A BSN is a 4 years degree. Typically, someone will get their RN and then do an online RN to BSN bridge program in about 18 months. The hospital I used to work at does not use LPNs in L&D. Some places might, but I don't know for sure. Getting your BSN is your best bet, but it will take several years of school. If you currently have a degree in another area, some schools have fast-track BSN degree programs if you have a different BS degree. It's something to look in to. Good luck!
  4. I worked 12-hour night shifts on Friday and Saturday nights all through my LPN program (which was Mon-Fri). I would have 1/2 a day of class on Friday, go home, take a nap, work Friday night, sleep sat, work sat night, and then take a short nap on Sunday, sleeping from maybe 7am until noon. Then I would get up and try to stay busy with homework, housework, or something that would keep me awake. Then I would go to sleep Sunday night and be able to go to school on Monday morning. It was VERY HARD but I was able to keep my job (and health insurance) through school. Good luck to you!
