Hello everyone!!
I am new here, and am in the process of applying to some LPN schools. I hope I get accepted!! It is crazy how many people they say apply, yet they only accept about 20 students!! Scares me, makes me wonder what kind of chance I have. Does anyone have any words of advice on helping my chances on getting accepted? I really want this!! Any nurses from OK? That is where I am from. Thank you for any suggestions and help!!

hello and welcome, you might wanna try visiting the PRE-NURSING STUDENT FORUM, they have tips, advises, and answers to whatever question you might have, it's there. good luck!

Hi Skarey!

Hang in there with the school application. I found it helpful (for me) to have all of my ducks in a row before I applied, probably why it took so long for me to get back to school. Not to discourage you though. I ended up going to a college that had no waiting list but I'll tell ya, the hoops I had to jump through...wow! This seems like a really great site so hopefully if you check some other forums as well, you'll find what you are looking for!

Hello all! I am graduating from the LPN program June 29, 2006 and am very nervous. Right now I feel like I don't know anything. After raising 7 children and being a CNA for 16 years I decided it was my turn to finally get an education. Any other late bloomers out there with some words of wisdom?

Congrates with school and your NEW CAREER. im so HAPPY & excited 4 u. im going to be starting school June 1st and my nerves are shot..lol its something about an educated women that improves her quality of life,n the age doesnt really matter..
