Hi!

I noticed there wasn't one for the FY of 2016, and I start my package on Monday to be sent to the boards August 1st. (My recruiter told me the earlier the better). So same thing as the last thread, this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying! :up:

Does anyone know when the decisions will be out, or if the board has even met yet?

Hi all, I'm new to this thread and as a member of allnurses, but I've been following the thread for a few months. Thanks for all the great info! I'm a non-prior service current BSN student and I finished my kit over a month ago. The suspense! I looked on the website below and it appears the board will meet sometime in the first two weeks of November. My recruiter said the same thing. Does anyone else have any good info on this? I would love to know...

Just got the word from my recruiter that professional recommendation decisions will be coming out in the next two weeks. Then after that we will wait for the official selection, which could take a lot longer depending on BUMED and BUPERS budgeting for slots etc as some of the previous posters have said this is how it went for them. I'm a lil worried because my kit went in at the last minute for a bunch of reasons......no matter what, finger's x'd!!

angelofmercy-SD thanks for the info! I just spoke to my recruiter today and he said any day now we would be hearing something. The suspense is driving me crazy! Good luck to you and everyone else :)

For me and the district medical recruiters' schedules it will be at the very latest the 12th to know my result...but what I found interesting was he said that nearly everyone gets the professional recommendation but not everyone will get the selection letter...do you or anyone happen to know about how long it normally takes for selection letters to be sent out? My recruiter said that last year with the gov't shutdown there was a huge delay in selection letters coming out. Thanks in advance for any info as I'm trying to get a grasp on how much longer this crazy suspense will last...btw, if officially accepted and sworn in, I'll look forward to joining your FB group :)

I don't have any additional information about selection letters. I have only heard about the very long delays with last year. I'm so ready for this suspense to be over! It has only been a month and it feels like forever lol please post of you get any information and I'll do the same.

Hey everyone I've been following this thread for a few weeks now. I too applied to NCP for fy 2016, I graduate in May 2016 from CU Denver. I also have been following the Navy Personnel Command website and keeping update via their memos and all. Looks like the acquisition board did indeed meet on Oct 29th. I also found that the acquisition Pers-447 page was updated this morning. According to that page the final selection list has been approved and posted, however it was so recently updated that the selection list isn't actually posted yet. I'm hoping it will be any time now. I am not 100% certain that this selection list is the one that pertains to us NCP hopefuls but it seems to be. Someone can let me know if I am not correct. Good luck to everyone.

FY-16 AC BOARD

The results for the FY-16 AC board has been approved and are posted to right on this site. In approx 10-15 days selected officers will received an eDACM email notification confirming AC memberships.

Hey everyone! Just thought I would let everyone know that I just heard from my recruiter a few moments ago. He says the selections are expected to be out tomorrow!!!! Fingers crossed for everyone!
