Try another recruiter - they actually recently posted about how they were fast tracking applications for PRs.

im sorry but what is PR? and where have u seen this post?

i forgot to tell that the recruiter also told me that i can join the army but not in the field of nursing. i would be in the enlistment. probably ill contact another recruiter.

See another recruiter. There might be no openings for nurses right now, but the recruiter you saw may be off track too. Be sure to get specific info from each recruiter you see if they all reject you. Sometimes everyone is not on the same sheet of music. That line about trying to get you to go enlisted sounds like a familiar tactic: bait and switch. It happens often when people see military recruiters. You have to be firm on what you want.

@ calioter

yeah i know what you mean by that bait and switch. i really want to join either the army or navy because there is no way i can join the air force because i am only a legal resident and not a USC

Are you eligible for a security clearance being a legal resident not a US citizen? This could be the issue, not that you got your RN in the Phillipines. Need to find this out when you speak with another recruiter, go to goarmy.com and do the online chat if you do not want to talk directly with a recruiter about this.
