The NMs on both units changed half the meds to 5 am so I have another hour. Wow, does it feel good to trust what I'm doing!

That's half the battle! Am I correct in thinking you're working LTC? I swear, the med pass alone is a killer! :D great to hear :D

God, yes, LTC. Un-freaking-believable pass. And before they changed the times it was unsafe. I HATE that!

In long term care you have a lot of people who get medications. A LOT. You have one hour on either side of the desognated time to bang them out. If you have 30 people getting meds and two hours that means 4 minutes per person. GAH!
