If I may ask, what were your grades like in your very first term/semester of nursing school?

I am disappointed in my grades. I am used to having higher grades (A's) and I am a little down, even though I didn't do terrible (A in a one credit hour course, a B in Patho, and a B plus in Foundations). I am taking Human nutrition next quarter along with a continuation in courses in patho, foundations and the one credit course. On the plus side, I will also have a one credit hour horse back riding class that I am looking forward to.

C - Fundamentals of Nursing

B- Pharmacology

I am not to happy about the C, but I passed. We can't have below a 80.

I made a 92 on the Fundamentals final and a 90 on the Pharm final.

Congrats on the final!

You can't get below an 80? And people in my program have nerve to get upset over the 73 percent mark. It used to be 70 until this year.

We have to have 84% minimum to pass... 83.99% = taking the quarter over :(

A- in Clinicals

A- in Assessment

A in Lab

B+ in Fundamentals

Not getting straight A's hurts, it's a learning curve when you realize A's aren't going to happen the way they did in pre-reqs, especially when you had to have over a 3.9 to even get accepted! They told us to be happy with just passing, and not worry about our grades, but it's tough!

So far I have B's in both pharm and fundamentals. Finals are next week. Eek!
