Do you bring all of the books for all the classes you have that day? What about a laptop?

I never bring my books, they are way too heavy. I just bring binders for whatever classes I have that day that have all of my notes in them. I bring a pen/pencil/highlighter case, snacks/my lunch, calculator, chapstick, a little wallet thing with all of my important IDs/cards and a small amount of cash (like $10) and a bottle of water. I also bring my iTouch to get my internet fix during class breaks haha. All of this gets thrown in my bag lol. My program prohibits use of laptops in class because they are distracting to other students...and I agree! I would be on facebook/twitter/allnurses instead of listening to lecture if I brought my computer with me!

After my first day of class, I'm revising my plan. I'll be bringing my different folders, pens/pencils/highlighters, my planner, and a notebook or two along with a hoodie, some food, and my water bottle. My binder is unnecessary for class...only necessary to store all of the handouts in.

Binder for that particular class
Netbook with power cord (our lecture hall has power outlets at every other seat, and the building has wi-fi)
iclicker (little remote thing where the teacher asks a multiple choice question and you use the clicker to vote in your answer, very cool!)
pens and highlighters
sweater (the rooms are freezing cold!)
we can't have food or drink in the classroom, so we usually get breaks once an hour, and they have a small room with a fridge, microwave and vending machines, so I get a big cup of dt mt dew on my way and keep it in the fridge for breaktimes.
Excederin (for some reason the projector screen gives me major headaches, if I take one Excederin ahead of time, I can stave it off, if I don't, I end having to take 3 later)
We only have to bring books when the teacher requests them, not very often according to the syllabus.

Most of my questions about what to bring to class were answered today. No need to bring books, and just look ahead on the syllabus and if a lab calls for a stethoscope or a bp cuff, bring one.
My teacher is printing off Powerpoints for all of her lectures, so I'll also be bringing along a binder along with my laptop to keep all of her lecture notes organized.
I'm also seriously considering bringing some earplugs with me to campus tomorrow so I can get some of the reading done between my lab and my lecture tomorrow - campus is swarming with people right now. It's pretty loud, even in the library.

I always have my headphones in my backpack just for this. I can sit down, relax and cancel everyone out while I get some stuff done. My friends know not to bother me when I have them on ha ha
