Aug 22, 201015 yr Do you bring all of the books for all the classes you have that day? What about a laptop?
Aug 22, 201015 yr I'm not planning on taking my books. They're just too heavy. I will be taking my netbook, though. It's super small and lightweight.
Aug 22, 201015 yr I take the books that I need for that class, my 3 ring binder, my laptop and my power cord. I do not use the laptop during class though. I also take a notebook, my drug book and a regular folder. Yes my bag is heavy and it does have wheels.
Aug 22, 201015 yr I have a 3-ring binder with anything that has been posted (and printed) on black board. I also have loose leaf paper in the binder. I bring the binders for the classes I have that day. I also have a pencil bag with several pens, pencils, highlighters in it. I don't take any books to class. I quit bringing my laptop because I only have one 10 minute break bet classes and then I just come home. If I do need to access the net while on campus, there are several computer labs.
Aug 22, 201015 yr tomorrow I plan on taking my fundaments and assessment text books, syllabus, 1" binders for each class and writing instruments. Hopefully the next day I can leave the text books home. I did get a wheeled case the syllabus itself is a 3 1/2 inch binder that is jam packed with paper.
Aug 22, 201015 yr I swear by those big expandable file folders. I buy a new one every semester. I assign a tab for each class, and it's really easy for me to keep my papers organized that way.Other than that, I'm not really sure what I'll bring! I start tomorrow. I'm definitely bringing my laptop to take notes on, and my Fundamentals book. I'm assuming that we'll be told what we need to bring in lecture tomorrow.
Aug 22, 201015 yr Pen, notebook and candy! nothing like a looooong lecture to get that blood sugar lowered;)
Aug 23, 201015 yr 3" 3 ring notebook with all the powerpoints i need for the week and then the book since this semester its pretty small and more manageable. I dont take my laptop anymore, makes for too many distractions.
Aug 23, 201015 yr My plan is to bring my 3" binder, a couple notebooks, pens/pencils/highligters, and a hoodie because the main classroom we're in is freezing! We were told not to bring our books for the most part, and that if we will need them one day, we'll be told in advance...and I have most of my books in e-book form, so on those days, I'll bring my laptop. And not school supplies...but my water bottle and lunch/a snack!
Aug 23, 201015 yr NetbookiTouch (not for use during class but it has all my drug guides, etc)3 ring binder with the syllabus, losseleaf paper and anything that was posted on blackboradpen/pencil/highlighter casesnack/drink
Aug 23, 201015 yr I never bring my books, they are way too heavy. I just bring binders for whatever classes I have that day that have all of my notes in them. I bring a pen/pencil/highlighter case, snacks/my lunch, calculator, chapstick, a little wallet thing with all of my important IDs/cards and a small amount of cash (like $10) and a bottle of water. I also bring my iTouch to get my internet fix during class breaks haha. All of this gets thrown in my bag lol. My program prohibits use of laptops in class because they are distracting to other students...and I agree! I would be on facebook/twitter/allnurses instead of listening to lecture if I brought my computer with me!
